Figure out what you are good at, what you enjoy and what you absolutely despise.

Now when you look at various methods on the way to choosing one, choose a method, at least in the beginning, that fits in with your temperament, skills and talents.

Makes things go a lot smoother when you work with your natural inclinations, instead of against them.

I have been online for years without making a dime. what really happen is that maybe i am not serious or not taking action but i do take actions, maybe the wrong way.
I decided to do one thing or the other but trying to do all thing at once (too bad). am supposed to focus on one thing and see result before another but i was too eager to make it.
I forced myself to concentrate on reading fellow warrior posts on making a dime online but there are too many post to read so i got confused.
finally, i think within myself on what to do best and i came up with an idea. quickly i got myself a shop online (website) and began to sell.
Now i av made a dime but what i learn in his forum was not a waste of time rather a time saver. ( i read to repeat what i did to earn a cent then i will earn more) which i did and happy to be an affiliate marketer.

Now to start read a summary of my story, what do you learn?
if you don't have a skill why not learn
do what others are doing then you will achieve the same result
though there is hard work but view it as responsibility and accept responsibility.

        hope this help

    Knowledge + Action = Success.

That said - read everything you can. This forum is FULL of useful and priceless information (and this is only one forum). Read forums, newsletters, websites, books. Then decide on a plan of action, do it, and follow through.

Many people mess up on one or both of those two things. They either jump in without knowing the basics of marketing, let alone internet marketing. OR they learn a little bit then just throw up a website with 10,000 affiliate links, get frustrated because they aren't bringing in $5,000,000,000 after a week and abandon the website.

I would suggest a lot of research before you start buying and building anything.

Buy a few WSO's, but not too many. You need to avoid getting too distracted by information. There are a lot of great ways to make money online such as Clickbank, CPA, article marketing, video marketing ETC. The bottom line, pick yours and move forward on it, relentlessly, and don't get caught up too much in information.

Start from the very beginning - like they did in "The Sound of Music". Get your Keyword research nailed. Then take action daily on your on page and off-page SEO. It becomes easier to love the topic when it's bringing in the bacon.

Keep your mind open. It is often products that you least expect that will generate the most money. Also, try to be genuine. Help your consumers. Making a quick buck off of them will not keep them coming back for more.

Most definitely! I am still learning this lesson. Another point is to keep it simple in the beginning and take it from there.

Make your business pay for itself.

There are a lot of ways out there to make a little bit of money - just a little - with no initial investment. If you want to buy a WSO or get hosting or register a new domain, earn the money like that. Don't just say "hey, I've got that" and reach in your pocket for what you made at your day job.
