a little tweak that's worked really well
Still learning, still learning but getting there... :-)
I recently made a change to my site that's significantly increased conversion and sales and a change to lead generation that's worked. In addition, my new animoto video adds bucket loads of credibility. It's for The Lunch Box Diet.
Changed from trying to get leads via a weight loss seminar dvd which just wasn't working to setting up recurring trial so they pay £4.95 initially then £22.05 after 21 days if they like it. Now they enter their details and lead capture is 'step 1' with the button saying 'step 2. No refunds to date. Been 2 weeks and had about 50 or so sales from 100 visitors per day.
Now I say 'signficantly' that's just from 0 to a few days per day, but i've increased my price from £9.95 to £27 and it's not affected sales, i've added more value, 1-1 email coaching and bonuses.
If I'm honest, i'm need to setup all the proper tracking (i'm just being honest here). If anyone could lend a hand i'd be really thankful.
My site visitors are only about 100 per day, so god knows what's going to happen when my visitors go up and i get a decent amount of affiliates - I have loads more credibilty than the top ranking products on clickbank, just don't have the connections, grrrr.
My problem now is getting affiliates on board, i'm ranked high in uk google for 'diet affiliate program' but need to really build it across the pond.
Any thoughts peeps? I'm having banners and emails made. Do press releases targeted to affiliates help? Do most affiliates have google alerts setup for their targeted areas? If maybe it will be worth it.
I've lost so much money doing adwords I'm a bit worried abut doing this as I'm not really an expert in this, i'll probably dip my toe in a little bit and see what happens.
