Strategies On How To Keep Up With WF

First, let me state that I have learned so much from this forum including not to spend all of my time here just reading but to actually get off my butt and do something.

I am looking for some different strategies on how you all keep up with all of the latest posts, or maybe some different routines that fellow warriors use to keep up.

I am well aware of the search functions and filtering functions the forum provides, but I am still searching for a really productive, efficient way to keep up.

Cheers,
Six

There is a WSO avaliable, by who I cannot remember, sorry.

The WSO is called Warrior Alert I think and what it does is alert you to posts being made containing keywords you have set. A very nice little tool and was priced at around $5 p/m if I remember correctly.

Don't! Keeping up with the WF is a full time job! LOL You don't have time for that! Just browse occasionally for popular threads or search for what you need. Work more, read less.

Hah! Well...at least I am glad I am not the only one who feels this way as well.

There is just so much information out there that its just crazy. To narrow it down, I found the "search" very helpful. As well as the option of being able to subscribe to threads.

I just hit the "New Posts" link whenever I drop in. I usually have the forum opened in a different browser from where I'm working so it doesn't take my time from my work. Usually. Sometimes I can get caught up just like the next one...lol.

When I either ask a question/respond on a thread, I subscribe to email notifications to keep track. Once my involvement with the thread is done, I unsub.

  • I just pick and choose when I have time. I always scan the Warrior Special Offer Forum and the Main Internet Marketing Forum. And I read the War Room and some of the other forums when I have more time. But, the only way is to pick and choose, otherwise there just aren't enough hours in the day.

I'd even recommend that for beginners. A lot of the power of Internet Marketing is putting things into practice, rather than just reading (it's just like learning to ride a bike - you read all kinds of books about it, but it's when you put foot to pedal that the real learning begins).

I usually start by looking at the list of posts that I am subscribed to, and catch up with the conversation. Then I go back and scan the headlines looking for things that catch my attention, usually things that relate to a current project or a poster that I like to follow. Then I check the War Room for the same things.

If I have time, I'll go looking for more general discussions that just look interesting/fun, and to see if anyone has updated any of the conversations I'm involved in. If not, I'm gone until the next time. I do usually make some time every day, though.
