Help selecting the right path!

Coming to the point, I need some help on kicking it off. I have selected my niche, I have my 5 articles written for the start with targeted-keywords. The niche I'm shooting is competitive and for that I have also created a free ebook for the subscribers.

Now I have am stuck at a point that should I create a landing page, put in an opt-in box and start gathering emails of the subscribers who download the free ebook or should I start a blog and publish my articles?

I have concentrated on both of the methods but both look good to me but since you guys are alot better than me so It would be a great gesture if you help me out.

Last but not the least, with both of these methods I don't find any money making.

    Write a squeeze page with a video showing what are the benefits of what inside your free ebook (Better be of great value solving at least one main problem related to your niche) .

    Use the 4 articles in Senuke to distribute all over the internet to get massive traffic for your squeeze page .

    A good thing to do is look for JVs with marketers that aren't with really massive lists ,Small to medium lists will do,To start growing yours , But make sure you do so after testing your conversion ratio and making your squeeze page look good enough .

    Go with a blog and put up articles as each static pages. Have an opt-in box for the Free eBook. You need an autoresponder for this. That should be a good start.

    Why have this to be an either/or approach? Why not both?

    Make a squeeze page with an optin form where you are offering the free ebook.

    Start a blog with your articles (and submit them to article directories, too!) and have an optin form in the sidebar, too. You can even track which one is working better. (AR companies offer the tracking possibility)
