Free screen recording software?

Hi,

I am trying to find a free screen recording program that also records sound. I need my video to be in one of the following formats - MOV, MPEG, MPG, MP4, WMV, ASF, AVI .

I was using jing, which I thought was pretty cool, but it only creates SWF files, and that is completely useless to me.

I downloaded camstudio but it only records a small part of my screen, and I want to capture all of it.

Does anyone have any suggestions of where I could find some free, or at least inexpensive software?

Try playing with the settings mate, you should be able to record video capture for the whole full size screen, as it has for me before. Try it.

Camstudio Pro is decent for the price--only $20.

I no longer use it since I now use Screenflow which is more expensive but CamstudioPro was good for the price and better than the free version.
