Is it possible to transfer USD funds from paypal to a USD account?

Yes it is, I did a video on this since it took me 4 years and many hours to figure this out. You can do it with Royal Bank in Canada. Not sure of other banks.

Here is exactly how to set it up

Assumptions you have the following

- Paypal account (Log into it to use in step 1)

- USD Bank account with The Royal Bank of Canada

Your Transit #

Your Bank Account #

Router # for RBC is : 026004093

Step by Step How To Set up Paypal with Royal Bank USD Account

Gather all the information above and then goto www.paypal.com

Log into your paypal account

Click on withdraw

Click on Transfer to Bank account

Click on Add Bank Account (You will see it under the TO

On ‘Add a Bank Account’ page change country to United States (I know bank accounts Canadian)

On ‘Add a Bank Account’ page enter Bank Name to ‘Royal Bank of Canada

On ‘Add a Bank Account’ page enter routing #026004093 to (Routing # same for everyone)

HERE IS THE TRICKY PART – Take your transit # and your bank account # and put them together as one number. Example – Transit 06662 and Account # – 1234567, now put them as 066621234567, you will notice that this is only both #s put together.

On ‘Add a Bank Account’ page, enter the # from step 9 into account #

On ‘Add a Bank Account’ page you will verify that again

On ‘Add a Bank Account’ page, click on continue

You will not get a message that you have added an account for the United States.

Next, two amounts will be added in your bank account.

To Verify Account

You will get 2 small amounts in your bank account

Once you open up paypal, on the main screen you will see ‘confirm bank account’

Choose your bank account and enter the two small amounts that were deposited into your account

You can now transfer money from USD Paypal to your Royal Bank of Canada account
