Any money in these niches?

Japanese Anime/ Manga
Music
Celebrities

Sadly these are niches I'm the most knowledgeable in and, I know my brain is full of useless crap. ^_^

Is there any way I could make websites out of these and monetize them?

- Adsense/ ppc for these kinds of sites are kind of low and there are so many of these available online...
- No ClickBank products
- Being an Amazon affiliate.... Who the hell buys music again?

Please give me your insightz. "D

I think that Japanese anime/ manga would be your best bet. Cpc is low, but there's a huge audience so you could get a lot of clicks

There is always money to be made in every niche its just finding the angle.

I don't know much/anything about the anime/manga scene but can you not find an affiliate program for manga comics or accessories again i have no idea about the manga scene but im sure there are physical goods you can get in with an affiliate program for.

As far as music goes I have no clue how to monetize this niche without becoming some big player in the market, however if you were to just make individual band sites you could make money on ticket affiliate programs and the like.

Hope some of that gives you some inspiration just my 2c

There's money in any niche. From the ones you listed I'd say celebrities is
    best.

I agree with what everyone else has said. There is money in just about everything, you just need to sometimes approach from different angles to fully exploit it.

Alexa is correct, you've decided on markets.

Now you need to narrow them down.

So you take music, you need to select a smaller market, so you pick say punk, but that is still a market, so you narrow it down further, and choose say North American punk bands, still pretty much a market, narrow it down further and choose say North American all female punk bands, now you are looking at more of a niche than a market.

    Make sense?

    Best wishes,

If you had the right website you could easily make a fortune of those niches.
    CELEBRITIES $$$$$$
ANIMEI $$$$$ You could sell "how to draw anime"
MUSIC $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Ringtones, dvds, cds, etc.

why do you need to be knowledgeable in the niches you go after? that's not necessary, google makes anyone an expert.

I see the junkiest pages ranking sometimes just because nobody else is building/optimizing for the keyword.

They're markets I like so, it's makes the research/set up process a little easier I guess.

    @Alexa Smith & Sylvia Rolfe

Yeah, I meant markets not niches, sorry haha. Regardless, they're markets that are not commonly used to monetize, a bit unconventional which frightens me. I mean I don't even quite know how to make a micro niche site specifically made for promoting affiliate products so I keep advising myself against it.

I lack the resources and experience. But right now I'm sort of thinking of making a Japanese anime review site for a specific genre and incorporating Amazon affiliates program with it. Is selling physical products a good idea?

Surely there's a "celebrity" animated musician out there somewhere - three birds, one stone, haha!

But there is a bit of truth to that. In what little anime I've seen, the music is amazing. And some of the characters have become quasi celebrities in their own rights. So, why not consider:

    - The Music of Anime
    - Anime Composers
    - Famous Anime Characters

... I'm sure you'd get some die-hards with sites like those, and chances are if someone's looking for "Theme Song To Ninja Scroll" he or she wouldn't mind spending a buck for the iTune MP3 (with your affiliate link, of course).

    Just a thought.

There is a lot of money to be made in these niches. For example, you could join a few CPA networks and promote ringtone offers (music & celebrities).

Its your choice that counts finally but don't go into the Celebrities niche. There's too much traffic but you'll find it hard to find an affiliate product that goes well with the niche. Its mainly about adsense I guess though I have seen a friend getting banned because there were a few celeb pics a bit on the adult side.

Draw manga niche is still good but you need targeted traffic, not the usual traffic interested in watching manga.

    Music is way too big.

The Music niche is very expansive these days, and the costs of launching a campaign in it vary depending on your choice of keywords if you're taking the PPC route.

The Internet Time Machine is currently showing around 300 profitable niche trends in music:

So yes, go for Music I would say. Quite a bit of potential there.

    Cheers,

For the anime niche, you could use something like cpalead or leadbolt, which locks your page until your visitors fills in a survey. Might be profitable.
