What works better for you, A review page or a story

Hey warriors, I was wondering which makes you more profit i.e. has better conversions

An in depth and helpful review style landing page.

OR
A lost and gain style story landing page.

For me story page converts better,but I am thinking of writing some reviews.

So whats your take?

    Both are good. If you can write an honest review, with some proof that you also used the product that you are promoting, and show us the result, then review is much better. Because you want people to buy the product that you are recommending, therefore, letting them to know more about the product and show them the result of your test would have you a higher conversion instead of a story where you tell about someone became successful, but not you.

    People will buy if you write a review telling them that you, yourself, used the product and became successful in it.

    Review seems to work best for me too, as long as I know the product well and provide a fair and honest review.

    Telling a story packs some power but reviews seem to do better. People search for knowledgeable opinions.

      It depends on the niche. A story can paint a picture in someone's mind, when it's done right.

      I think a story is more useful for someone who doesn't know the value of the product or hasn't yet made up their mind that they need such a product.

      A review works better for people who are already looking for such a solution and now just want to know which is the best solution.

    When I want to buy a product I look for reviews to find the bad things others buyers had found, unconsciously I trust negative reviews more than positive reviews.
    Stories may go dipper into a product advantages and may let a positive picture on my mind, because unconscously I consider that a story is written by a professional whereas a review is written by people like me.
