Was wondering if anyone had any experience with Widget development?

Im looking to have a very simple Countdown Calendar type widget developed that can then be added to sites like Widgetbox. Hopefully from there, interested people will add the widget to their blog, facebook, myspace page etc.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a widget developer?

    There are already programs for countdown calendars - codes you can just put on your site.

    I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to find someone on one of the freelance sites to put your own version together for you.
