unfortunately your girlfriend is probably not indicative of your ideal customer.

What type of traffic are you sending?

If you post your site someone may be able to look at it and give you some ideas.

And my traffic isn't incenstivised its mainly email submits or downloads, so its not like people are meeting the criteria or something right?

Are you sure you (and your girlfriends since she's filling in the offer) are in the target country?

ex: if you're in Canada and the offer only allows US traffic you won't get credited anything.

Im posotive and im pretty sure, theres something wrong, im currently in 3 cpa networks and have gotten over 100 clicks in each and havent got one conversion i mean that just kills my motivation, because most of them are email or zip submits or downloadable games, and it sucks and i don't know whats wrong and i tried to speak with my affiliate manager and he told me to do PPC because 6 clicks on one advertizement isn't enough to get results, well if 6 people filled out their email or downloaded the game i should be geting 6 conversions correct?

      1. Again...where are you getting your traffic from? (sorry just saw your post above, I was responding too quick )

      2. I'm not sure what the current conversion rate for CPA is right now, but unless you are doing some serious pre-selling I would imagine that you would need something closer to 100 clicks on an add to even get 1 person to fill submit an email or download a game.

      3. You are seriously diluting your traffic, pick one CPA company and one offer and send all your traffic there.

      4. CPA marketing is not necessarily the the golden goose that a lot of "guru's" make it out to be. It still takes work and tons of traffic. It is a numbers game and I'm sure that a >1% click through rate is about the norm.

Are you pre-selling your traffic or just posting your link everywhere. Are you telling your potential customers that they really need to download this game...or that they absolutely have to have whatever it is they are submitting their email for.

Forgive my if I'm wrong, but even though your members sign up for something they still need to take the next step and make the purchase. I think this is something that CPA's don't detail to newbs. So just because they sign up for an offer doesn't mean they've taken the next step.

I would suggest that you examine your keywords and their OCI to see which ones are buying keywords.

          Sean,

You have dozens of keywords (nearly 100?) in your meta keywords tag, and just about zero text content on your page. You also have a keyword listing in your meta description which is not useful. Very poor and counter-productive practice.

As kbs notes, I also suggest you sort out your basic SEO as visitors are not gonna come naturally from searches. While you are stripping down the page some, put some keyword-laced text content in there to improve quality.

So your telling me that for about every 100 clicks i get on a add i will get paid, even if all 100 of them fill out their information?
    {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[2396149].message }}
    • Profile picture of the author getsmartt
No I'm telling you that out of the 100 people that click on the ad maybe 1 will submit their email or download the game

It looks too much like a run-of-the-mill wordpress site. Try making it look much more appealing and dynamic.

Also, I have adblocker on, so I can't see most of your content. Over 50% of people now have adblocker, so I would recommend working around that.

How exactly would i work around that is there a plugin for wordpress to bypass that?

I don't think there is, but my recommendation would be to embed games that don't appear as ads.

In all honesty, I would recommend paying someone to make a more professional and appealing looking layout.

Nope...and I meant to say that too, I had to turn mine off to see all your banners. That is why I mentioned writing something and adding your link into the text.

You should also be able to download the images from your CPA company and host them locally (you will just have to make sure you get your linking code correct) This will keep the adblockers from hiding your ads....

But still, a page full of ads is not going to get the majority of people to click through and submit info or download something

So i would have to download the images and instead of making them clickable just making them visable and then below hav a clickable link?

No they could still be clickable they would just be hosted on your site.

            Essentially...

Download the images from your network
            Get the proper linking codes
make a post (or page) in wordpress and use the post menu to upload your image.
click the image in the post and click the link button on the menu...paste in your linking code.

Maybe take's a while for the conversion.
Did you send an email to the support and tell them about this problem or read the FAQ?
This is the easiest way to solve this problem.

Ok just took a look at the site...

    1. You have way too many different types of offers on there.
    2. The Menu in the right hand column has to go...it is a traffic leak.
    3. Tell your customers why they would want to click on any of those banners you have posted. Write a review of the product that is being offered.
    4. Target an ad to your customers. You have way too much to click on.

So you basically want me to narrow my website to make it almost a landing site for one specific type or group of ads?
