Is the Money JUST in the List?

Way back when before we had social networks and membership sites there was this mantra that we where all drilled with, it went something like this ...

THE MONEY IS IN THE LIST ... THE MONEY IS THE LIST

So we spent lots of time devising squeeze pages that added people to our Aweber autoresponder lists.

Of course the masters of list building now have massive lists, containing in some cases hundreds of thousands of email addresses. As a result they can pretty much make money on demand by simply sending out a single message with an affiliate link in. They make huge profits as the sheer number of people on their list stacks the odds in their favour.

Thats alright for them but what about everyone else.

Well for those with either very small or no list at all I have got good news for you.

The money is no longer JUST in the list it's in the audience as well.

Let me explain ...

Nowdays you can quickly create leverage by building a massive following on Twitter or by building a big a big group or fanbase on facebook. All of which can be responsive & profitable.

In a sense these are just different types of lists ... I said it before someone else does.

As with an email list you will need to provide value and develop a rapport to get results. Unlike an email list you can of course interact far more, using a variety of tools to create a real sense of community. In fact these type of social network crowds can be amazingly profitable.

It makes sense of course to try and get people to still join your email list as they are your valuable business asset and you are covered if Facebook or Twitter have a policy change and cancel your group, list or account.

Anyway I have a number of audiences like this across more than one niche which are just pure Gold to me.

So if you have not started building using Social Networks I would advise you to take action immediately.

I didn't have lots of luck with social networking but many people did so apparently something was wrong with my method but I just decided it's not for me
