Pricing 20 Blogs? Calling All Sitel Flippers

I've got a question for all you site flipper experts out there.

I've got 20 wordpress blogs 1 original post with with the usual plugins for seo purposes, using copyblogger theme and so forth.

These all right now are indexed and ranking in Google anywhere from #1 to #15. All domains are exact match keywords and have produced zero revenue so far.

Each site has a custom header, the header just needs to be installed.

I've done submissions to SEOlinkvine.com, UAW and linkjuicer.com to build backlinks. I've got reports to back up the number of links that have been created for each site also. How on earth do I price this if I were to sell it as a set?

Any advice is greatly appreciated as I plan to sell this whole lot together so I can get funds to work on another project I am more passionate about.

In all honesty, they aren't worth much at all. The market for startup sites has been extremely competitive in the last few months so prices aren't like the used to be. To be profitable, you really need to show sites with revenue and/or traffic.

You could probably sell them for about $500-800 for the lot, but you'd need a good sales copy.

    Good luck!

I was wondering the same thing pretty much Matt. I have like 13 sites, including 4 sites that have PR (3 of them are PR3) and would like to see what others think about this.

I mean outside of the cost of the article, the cost/time spent on the submissions for building backlinks - what overall value does a small lot like this have for someone.

I forgot to add that basically it is because I want to get some funds to concentrate on one website instead of 20 different websites. I looked at the whole auto blogging thing and I'm like no thanks in this case. I have more fun with one and turning that into a real business instead of trying to play google 20 different ways.

    So you are offering this:

    1) 20 TLD's + Google Indexed + Top #15 ranking
Question: Does the keyword gets any traffic? How competitive is it?

    2) 20 Customer Headers
    Critic: Nothing really special here.

    3) 20 unique articles. 1 Article on each blog
Critic: That's hardly any content to buy.

    4) Hosting?

Those blogs would hard sell out but imo $100-$130 tops for all of them. All the best

$100-$130 for all of them? Wow, you wouldn't even give him Reg fee for the domains (assuming they are .com)? I think that's a bit low-ball. 20 sites, with minimal content, I would probably try to sell them individually. Like the above poster stated however, a lot depends on which keywords you're targeting.

That's what the final price might turn out if he's desperate to sell them off 'cause they would need a lot of work on the buyers side.

What do you mean a lot of work? The sites are set up and already ranking. Remind me not to have you purchase any of my blogs. I think I would go out of business!

The blogs have no traffic. If the keywords its ranking for are really good they'd see some traffic. Well, I guess I might be wrong but then it all comes up to the niche and ranking keywords.

And lol don't worry about me buying blogs. I'm an ass when it comes to spending money

Are they all ranking for their keyword with exact matched URLs? If so you can easily sell them for $50 a pop. Easily.

      Really?

I have a blog that deals with one type of consumer appliance. 7 pages of content, its 6 months old, ranking number 2 for keyword and the domain is exact match. It receives about 300 unique visitors a month and PR is 2.

How much can it go for?

      Thanks.

      Jim.

Though it is more work, you will probably get more total money out of them if you sell them separately. (IMHO)

And as mentioned, without a lot of content and no income don't expect too much per site. But with a good sales copy, if you really SELL the sites, you could do ok.

How old are these blogs, I am guessing they are a few months old? If they are aged, it will add some value.

Each of the blogs is getting some traffic but nothing to brag about that's for sure.

Also the sites were registered in between April and May 2010 as well.

If you sold them separately you would get a lot more simply because the people looking to buy in bulk are looking for a huge deal. You probably already know that I guess.

It's kind of hard to say not being able to see the sites. Since they don't have any income one of the big selling points would be the design but since you're saying the headers aren't even on there I'm going to assume they don't have a premium design.

If you look at the Websites For Sale section here, I believe you will find these same types of sites selling for average of $50 or so. So you could probably get less than that per site if you had to sell them as a package.

Added: If you wait for the next PR update (any day now) you might find that some of them have PR and for some strange reason that seems to make them more valuable and more desirable.

20 blogs with no traffic and no revenue and only one post is not worth much. The startups on Flippa normally have at least 10 posts and they aren't selling. Backlinks and all that don't matter much for startups unless they result in big traffic and/or sales.
