Spinning articles- hiring someone and what to pay?

I've got a ton of content for a couple of websites and have never spun or had anything re-written. I've been putting up projects on elance & odesk, and it seems that a reasonably good article writer will be around $10 per article. It seems to me that if they are just spinning my content they should accept less, as original articles obviously take more work.

Is this a pretty good assumption?

How much is your budget then? $1/100 words is the minimum pricing of 1 quality article.

    Hi!

You can lower down costs by hiring dedicated full time or part time content researcher/writer assistants from legally registered offshore companies offering business consultancy, marketing, offshore manpower sourcing, training and management services.

This can also guarantee that you will work with reliable professionals.

You can go ahead and check my WSOs in my sig below in case I can help you.

Hiring service providers is been a favorite to me. I look for more & more service providers & get the work done in content writing in just 3.5 USD per 500 words article.

I place bids on Elance, GAF, Odesk like portals to get the work & got good reviews too.

Freelancing guys get paid & I get nice reviews out of it. I love to put them on work to get quality work but spinning out the content have not been done yet.

    It depends.

I personally find writing the original article to be the "easy part". Writing quality spintax is extremely time consuming.

Seriously. Trying to find three or four ways to say what you already said, and then synonyms for half the words is an extremely tedious and time consuming process. I experimented with article spinning a couple of times, and unless you're using an automated process, it's not worth the time and energy for the writer.

I agree with the above: It is extremely tedious to properly spin an article so that the spun versions have a good percentage of uniqueness and also read well.

I imagine you would pay someone very well to do this properly.

I agree with bay 37 the spintax seems to take forever but is necessary to produce quality spun articles. Be interested to know exactly what the brief in your post is to the potential article writers?

I've been an article spinner myself and used to charge 3 cents a word.

When hiring an article spinner, you've to ascertain the level of uniqueness you want to achieve. I used to determine the quality by the "spinner uniqueness checker" built into SEnuke. Go for 30% uniqueness I would say.

      AMEN!

This is only talking about spinning word & phrases. If you really want to spin it, you spin your sentence/paragraph order, line breaks, style tags, images, links, etc... then you can also include/exclude some words/sentences/paragraphs so that spun articles/paragraphs/sentences have a variable word/sentence/paragraph count.

This kind of spinning must be done by hand and takes AGES. however, the result is pretty cool. Each page will be readable and will actually look like pretty unique content (to an extent).

i guess what i am getting at is that anyone willing to do any amount of quality spinning would be out of their damn mind not to charge more than writing (even if hand spinning words only).

if i was only asking for simple synonym replacement i could understand charging less than writing. We all know what level of quality that kind of spinning produces though.

This is an interesting thread as I'm considering starting a spinning service.

I have a spinner and have been practicing a bit and agree that it can be very time consuming to do it right.

Something to keep in mind is that once the article is spun and you have the spintax version, you can crank out many articles. So, even if you pay $20 - $30 for that service, you can get dozens (if not hundreds) of articles out of it.

Now if you're talking about rewriting articles by hand, I do think that less than $10 is fair. That does take less time than writing an article from scratch, and certainly less time than properly spinning with a spinner. However, you do end up with just one article.

You can hire someone from Find a real, online job! | Home or Hire Filipinos - Find Online Workers in the Philippines | EasyOutsource to rewrite articles for you - $1 - $3 per article. However, you should use a checker to assure that they will really keep up the uniqueness of the article.
You can also try fiverr.. there are people who are willing to do anything for you for as low as $5. Hope this helps.. =)

So what you could do is outsource article creation to someone who'll write you a 500 word article for $1, then use a program to spin this into 10 different articles? Then automatically upload these articles, then automatically bookmark these articles?

    ... $1 = 10 articles = 10 x 25 bookmarks = 250 backlinks

    $1 well spent!

Writing original articles and rewriting/spinning them are two completely different things, and in some cases(i.e people who take it seriously and do it properly) as much, if not more, work is put into spinning and rewriting.

There are a number of variables at work here. How long will it take the rewriter/spinner you have hired to carry out the work? How unique will the resultant content be? What kind of quality will it be? How many variations will you get? I think you need to decide what rewritten and spun articles are worth to you and your business and then find someone who can give you the level of service you need. As has been mentioned right here in this thread, there are plenty of people who offer these services, some of them right here on the WF

Agreed. Good spinning, i.e. a set of articles that will actually convert into sales, requires more work than originally writing the article. Parts can be automated by using some of the nifty software packages available, but to get good results (and you can get really good results) you're going to have to be prepared to compensate for the time it takes.

    Kevkos:

I suggest you get a VA for the boring jobs that you dont like doing (including spinning). If you want to save time and money, getting an all around person is the most cost effective thing you can go for.

I started with having one VA a couple of months ago and everything went well (thank god) and I increased my team into 5 people. Perhaps even more if we include my ebook writers.

You can start out with Filipinos. Not being biased but I worked with a lot of SEO clients and they had better results from filipinos.

    Hope this helps.

It's high generally. If you're content to hire someone who will use one of the crappy 'collaborative' spinners (i.e. you don't care about whether the result is readable or not) it shouldn't cost more than cents, not dollars.

If you hire someone using one of the 2 or 3 professional spinner systems, you'll have to pay more, because you'll be getting what are essentially new articles that are readable.

Still don't think it will cost $10 though!
