Advice for a product launch affiliate

I am going to make my first serious attempt at an IM launch review site soon. I have registered productnamereview.com and setup a wp blog there. The following is my plan, and I'd like any advice you can give:

40 days before launch
Post: productname announced by name

35 days before launch
Post: productname to launch on date

30 days before launch
Post: something

25 days before launch
Post: Why buy productname

20 days before launch
Early productname review

15 days before launch
Post: product review and bonuses

For each post I would write 2-5 articles (each to 5-10 directories), each with a backlink to the blog home and to the specific corresponding post. For the last two posts I will also make submit youtube videos, and perform the same article backlinking for them. Everything would be social bookmarked and pinged.

I'm wondering if this timeline seems good in terms of how much time google has to rank everything. Input?

  • The time line is ok, however nowadays competitions for product launch is quite heavy, so you might want to add more backlinking to your campaign if you want to rank high. Try to get backlinks at a consistent rate for example 5 backlinks per day or an increasing rate
