Jenn Dize, a prominent and popular writer here on the Warrior Forum has suffered a tragic loss. Her Grandmother -- closer, actually, to being like her Mother, passed away this evening from a massive stroke. I really appreciate everyone's thoughts and prayers. It's so wonderful to have a community of people from all over the world who have such big hearts

It's amazing, and it means a lot to me.

I don't know how to "be" in a world without her in it. She was my mother figure -- always. Taught me right from wrong. I am lucky and grateful that my 3 year old got to know and love her, and that she got to meet my baby several times.

I hope that I can eventually be half the person she was. As close to selfless as anyone can be. Kind, lovely, and fun.

Jenn, it sounds as if your grandmother was a truly wonderful person. The fact that she was your mother figure coupled with you being the person that you are pretty much proves it.
