So I am trying this IM thing one more time. I am gathering information and tackling the learning curve. To any other new IM'ers I would suggest the same thing.

DON'T BUY ANYTHING, at least not in the beginning. I got really motivated a few days ago, and began looking for free info. Let me go check my desktop...

yepp...I have 12 free ebooks on how to make money. A few focusing on facebook. I downloaded a free article submitter and a free article spinner. These would work great with my free tips from the bum marketing method.

Basically, don't get sucked into $100 ebooks or pay to become an affiliate to anyone. I learned this after losing $250 to the little guy network

I agree, $20 definitely a great investment for an education. I have 18 websites, and plan on building them up with lots of content and reading this forum religiously! SO many great inputs.

I am really sorry for this, I know it is not relevant but I need to ask.

Do I need to be a war room member to be able to start a new thread? If not how do you start one? I can't seem to find the magic button lol

It saddens me to see threads like this being posted with good intentions.

I'm not going to say that your free ebooks on how to make money online are probably crap but if you think about it for a second:

If I were to spend the next 2 weeks cataloging and organizing all the knowledge in my head to straight up teach you everything I know about establishing niche authority sites, building a list and making some serious money online...would I want to sell it to you?

Yes I would because it cost me thousands of dollars to learn and gain the experience I needed to get to where I am now.

Best advice is to RESEARCH the creator of any WSO you are interested in and same goes for any offer you find interesting online. Find out who you are buying from, always some dirt to dig up on the guys who are out to separate you from your money and leave you hanging.

No such thing as a free lunch and there are tons of good offers on this forum in the WSO section which if you just do a little research on the person selling and read through the responses on the WSO itself you can make an informed decision.

Stick to free information and you will more often then not find the information that was worthwhile 3 years ago and isn't selling now so it is used to get subscribers on their list as a giveaway.

Article spinners? -NO, a waste of time, take your time and produce unique content. Put your personality into it and just do your best, don't put out anymore complete crap that article spinners produce please I beg you.

Article submitter?- Okay I guess so but it isn't all that hard to upload your unique articles yourself and actually take the time to create a worthy profile on the article directories which are worth putting your content on.

I hate to see all the shortcuts and BS that people talk about, if you plan on only continuing to "TRY" internet marketing then by all means keep going the same way you are now. BUT, if you want to actually make something of it...take it seriously, open your eyes and start learning from those who are out there already doing it. Use your own common sense and decide for yourself that YOU are the one responsible for YOUR own success.

The words "LAZY" and "BUM" should have nothing to do with you learning to build a reputable business online. If you don't take it seriously you will get NOWHERE, look up Tony Robbins and watch and listen to what he has to say. Search this forum and find your motivation to not be just another lazy ass whiny newbie who won't get up and make it happen for themselves regardless of how much time and effort that is required simply because you got burned by making a bad decision on the wrong product.

I believe in you, and I believe you are smart enough and talented enough to make a go of this, but first things first is:

Do your research and make smart buying decisions based on facts not hype! There is no easy button, it takes hard work, determination and believing in one's self before any progress will ever be made towards online income. Find a product which is Newbie Friendly and lays out the basic and core skills you need to develop, there are plenty of them and most of the things you will find are worth it if done correctly.

I completely disagree with the notion that not buying anything is the way to go, its a straight forward route directly towards information overload and being caught in the headlights. Simply too much information out there to decipher your best route to take and learn up on. Pick a certain part of internet marketing which interests you such as:

    Niche Marketing-Affiliate Sales

    Site Flipping

    Product Creation

    Blogs

    Amazon Product Review Sites

    etc.

Pick one and go research a good program you can afford and get into it. Follow it to a T and put your best effort forward because you CAN DO IT!

whew...okay, sorry to rant but don't be an example to newbies to sit around this forum and say ebooks are scams and nothing works blah blah blah. Takes time, effort and dedication just like everything else in the entire world.

thank you niche mayham, and yes i agree with all that. the one problem newbies get into is trying too many methods at once.

my first try will be affiliate marketing. this will be done thru articles and blogs. i will try and do!! i love writing, so i will be using personality and writing my own content.

i am 20 years old and over 18 months ago i was 140 lbs. now i am 182 and hit a high of 194lbs. all this in my room, no gym, and proper nutrition. so since ive already done all the research, a bunch of info is in my head, and ive taken nutrition classes at college; i feel prepared to write articles and blogs on strength training, weight lifting, gaining weight, working out at home, and promoting affiliate products/work out supplements.

like every one says, i just need to get out there and ..... DO IT!

Bravo! Way to go my friend! THAT is the right attitude to have. If only every new marketer could put the same thought and effort into utilizing what they know already and learn as they go or seek out proper instruction with patience and due diligence, we would see more successful marketers rather then more unsuccessful ones.

My hat is off to you and best of luck. Feel free to PM me or leave a visitor message on my profile if you need any help because you have the right stuff, now get out there and get to it!

wow, what great positive reinforcement. and its almost like the law of attraction is at work too. i was collecting before and after pictures just for the heck of it! now im going in to IM, those pics will be proof for people to buy from my affiliate links; I have found that a lot of the products i buy at my local brick and mortar store are cheaper at amazon, might try their affiliate program on my blog or article. in one of those free ebooks a guy talks about top niches, two of them being health and investing. im into both!!! i created a 12 page word doc for my dad on stock indicators. now look, haha im trying to make money online. ive already written stuff in the past!!!!

i will give you a thank you to boost your warrior ratings

I don't think there is a good or bad answer...

You can certainly get all the free ebooks you can and start connecting the dots if you will on everything that you find out there...

but eventually there will come a point where the extra steps may be hidden behind the BUY NOW button... and that is reality...

on the other hand though... you can get a lot of those PAID FOR courses at great discounts at the WSO forums... Cheers!
