Amazon Commisons question

I read in a post here that amazon gave two types of commission plans...one that was a flat rate and another based on performance. I am wondering if you can change this or it's something you set during sign up. Also, which structure is better for someone new to the entire thing?

Thanks,
Chad

  • There are two commission rates.

    Performance & Classic

Performance starts at 4% and moves up to 8.5% depending on how many sales you make.

Classic is a flat fee of 4%

So obviously you want the Performance pay structure.

    To check that:

    Go to Amazon

Click "View Earnings Summary" at the top

On the "Reports" page under the date you will see something that says "You are currently enrolled in our Performance Fee Structure."

Click the link next to it and you'll see what I'm talking about.

    Hope that helps!

  • The only reason to choose the "classic" performance scale would be if you don't like making money... I'm not sure why they ever have it up there to be honest...
