Is it guiest blog posting Worthy?

Hi, All

I have read at somewhere that guest blog posting is beneficial for promoting your website and branding yourself. Anyone have experience about it? Please share it. I think most of the viewers will get benefited.

    It is. Actually that's where Josh Hanagarne became successful in blogging despite his fight for Tourette's Syndrome. He still has it but through guest blogging/posting and writing onto his blog, it served as a better therapy for him to share his experiences and at the same time, increase traffic. He has over 300,000 readers now and he's been featured a lot of times in Problogger. See his post here:

      Thanks, I went throught link and it is amazing! It underlines the importance of guest blogging. It is good source for building you as a BRAND. It also generates traffic.

    It is but I don't go for it. Its just take too much time in whole process. It's hit or miss situation. I usually avoid it.

      yaa guest post is worthy in many cases.. I had read about in a article on guest posting is that for people in the 'other' site you might become the go to person for their queries in your niche.

    I have been considering this of late and see no reason you cannot hire someone to write for you if you have trouble in this area.
    Just in the natural flow of things it seems like it could be extremely useful in branding and building authority.

    Yes, guest blogging is beneficial both ways. To write for another blog and to have guest bloggers write for yours. Here's a great site that hooks up blogs with guest bloggers:
