Best Monthly Payment Processor!?

Hey there,

I am looking for a payment processor that can accept monthly subscriptions for a service I'm running.

Clickbank and paypal are out of the question, as I hate Clickbanks payment system, where they hold your money for like 90 days or something and then release it, and I hate the fact I have no control over the refunds.

Paypal is eh ok, but I do not want to deal with people opening disputes and getting all my money limited as paypal tends to do that a lot.



So are there any monthly payment processors that have subscription services you guys reccommend?

2checkout, ejunkie? etc etc etc..

    Also I heard that google checkout does in fact have a monthly subscription option, however , it needs to be properly coded etc and I am no coder and would rather not mess around with something that is still in Beta.

    Try Plimus.com their payment system is the best I have ever seen and they are so service orientated they have a 24 hour phone help desk with US staff it still is unbelievable to me

    Yea Plimus is a great option. A bit pricey as they charge almost 10% on most purchases, however, much more friendly to use than Clickbank or paypal!

      Wow that much, I used them as an affiliate and I could not believe how advanced they were. But 10% sounds steep

        Yep this is their rates. Most products Im saying will be around 47 dollars, so thats 10 percent which is pretty pricey especially when your doing like 10 sales a day etc...

            The one I mentioned is Plimus.com yes they are US based but they are the best for non US based vendors. Iam in South Africa and they pay directly into my bank account no hassles. I know Chineses that use them so it is the best for smooth out of the US operations.

    Another processor I use is Alertpay. They are very similar to PP, have been around awhile now, and have made some major improvements lately as well.

    Get your own merchant account and use a payment gateway like authorize or netbilling.

        Depends on what you are selling, what bank you use, your credit rating etc... Just search google on merchant accounts and you will have plenty to look at. When you find one you like they will provide you with a list of gateways they support.

    Have you tried Paydotcom it's similar with clickbank, but it using paypal as the payment gateway, so your buyers pay to your paypal, it supports recurring payment. I've use it too

    Actually i looked into it, and its only 30 bucks a month for a gateway, and if your doing a few sales per month, it will definitely pay off. With plimus they charge up to 5 bucks per 47 or 50 dollar sale, which on average, are what products are. So if you plan on selling more than 6 products, than a gateway is for you....
