Where to find quality video work for offline business

Hello, this is my first post but I wanted to dive right in and inquire about a good place to outsource video marketing work for offline clients. I did put together one deal so far with a person that was way to expensive for me to work with on a regular basis, but it did show me the possibilities of high quality video marketing services for small offline businesses.

The video was a clip show style video using some sort of program with many visual elements along with a nice voice over advertising the client's service and gave specific instructions for making contact. In other words I did not pay someone to actually go out and shoot a "real" video commercial. It was all done with still pictures the client supplied, some voice over, and promotion. The client was immensely pleased with the result.

If anyone can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

    Hello,
I'm new here and I'm trying to set-up an internet business, and I'm looking for a site with proper videos that can be seen online. I do not want to download videos, I want to see them online.
Basically, I need good information about everything from getting traffic, building email lists, affiliate marketing and all the things that are needed for an internet business. I've been reading forums and downloading free rubbish for weeks and I'm getting really fed up.
Is there any site where I can just log in, and learn online about marketing and internet business?
Also, what type of internet business is good and doing well? I am not rich so I am looking to set up a site or blog on a low budget.
    Thank you

I don't know where you live so some of this might not work but here are two suggestions.

      1) Do you have any colleges or technical schools nearby? Lots of them now have multimedia and video courses and there are lots of talented students who would love the chance to get some real world experience for their resume.

      2) Give craigslist a try. You might have to sift through a lot of responses but there are some real gems out there willing to work for a very modest fee.

Thank you for the excellent suggestions. I did use craigslist and was amazed at the repsonse but I had to keep looking for a while to find someone who included quality voice over work as well. My client was willing to pay just a couple hundred so that was a challenge to find someone to do it for slightly less than that. My profit was almost non existent but I do have a satisfied client for possible SEO work down the road, who knows.

Based on what my client was willing to pay I am not confident I can charge much more than $200 to $300 for this service, as there does seem to be a lot of competition for video marketing, from what my little research revealed.

Why keep the client? If they are only willing to pay $200-$300 your risk/reward is not there, personally I'd suggest moving on and concentrating on higher end clients. Once you have 1 or 2 examples you 'can' use to pre-sell them then the skys the limit.

Otherwise your going to get dragged into having to use well under par video creators just to get the sale and you will be labelled with the same quality...

          Just a thought

I have done some SEO work with some clients as well, and this client was a referral, so I figured why not since I had very little work to do except advertise and email a few times to get the job done. My profit was not there but I do have a contact who knows me now and I will offer SEO services to him soon for his business site.

And he may refer me to others as well and if I could use him as a testimonial (not sure yet) then I could possibly charge more to make it worth my while. A lot of my clients are very leery of paying more than a couple hundred for ANY service because they all have one thing in common: they have been scammed by big promises in the past.

If you would like to email me I can be reached at michaelwilliam67 at ymail.com
