PDF conversion tools : Pay of free ?

Hi everyone,

A few weeks ago, on the giveaway of the day site, I downloaded a "suite" of PDF tools : PDF to Word, PDF to Text, Mixing PDF document, and 2 others I can't remember.

However, I got the info from another marketer or on a site, can't remember, that all those tasks can be accomplished with free tools.

Did I waste money ?

well, you can use Open Office to compile pdf docs...

I use Adobe acrobat... and happy about it.

it depends a lot of the level of detail you want to get.

I never managed to make an open office doc look as good as a word 2007 doc...

and Open office does not manage docx files.

MS Word will make .pdf files with a free plug-in from Microsoft.

Open Office is a wonderful, free, open source, Word look-alike, that many of us here use to make .pdf files.

There is also a free .pdf conversion program built-in to the Warrior Forum. I always use Open Office - so someone else will need to tell you how to find the WF's .pdf maker.

At the upper right hand side of this forum is a "Search this Thread" button. Using it would have taken you to any of the many threads in which someone was looking for a .pdf converter.

Always check here and in the War Room first. The War Room will be the best $37 you will ever spend.

I use FreePDFconvert.com to convert my files. Its free and it works great.

  There are many options. I'll just add what works for me. This is free as well and has a lot of functionality. It's called PrimoPDF.

  I realize I should have mentioned from which company I bought the products. Being a newbie here, sometimes I'm afraid I will get negative feedback if I mention a company name.
  
  I bought the package from Simpo.
  
  I'm not an affiliate. I don't even know if they have an affiliate program. Here is what I got in the package at a discount price of $39.95 :
  
  PDF Creator Pro
  PDF to Word
  PDF Merge and Split
  PDF to Text
  PDF Password Remover
  
  I thought I had gotten the package for $39.95. I just checked the email with the receipt info, it said $49.95.
  
  I think it was $39.95. Simpo charges $10 for an "Extended Download Service".
  
  I did get a better deal than what you wil get at the site right now, because I had first downloaded a free version of the Password Remover from the giveaway of the day site. A comment appeared after I installed it saying there would be "something wrong" with the resultings PDFs I created. I can't remember what the "something wrong" was. And also because you get of the 5 products I got.
