Really need help with Wordpress problem

Hi everyone, I just installed a blog with Fantastico witch I did a few times with the same theme but for some reason my post wont show on my homepage but is listed as published and it's showing in my categories.

Have any idea why this is happening? I can't get any answer with wordpress so I come to the experts on everything

    Did you check the published date? If it's in the future, it wouldn't show (unless you're logged in, I believe).

    Edit: sorry, just read that it's showing in your categories! Disregard my post... ;-)

      Do you have the blog set to display "Posts" on your home page or "A Static Page", I think that is under - settings - reading.. worth a look perhaps but probably not what your problem is.

        Log into your Wp-Admin...

        Click on:

        - Settings
        - Reading

        You'll have an option that states:

        Front Page Displays

        - Your Latest Posts
        - A Static Page
        - Front Page
        - Posts Page

        If you have latest posts page checked than your post should appear when you visit your site.

        However, if you have a "static page" checked you need to ensure the following:

        - the front page to display is a page that is already created on your blog (this is for pages only).

        - then you need to create another page called "Blog" and then use the drop down menu for "Posts Page" and select the Blog page you created.

        This should hopefully resolve your issue.
