Depending on what your videos are about, you may not get many views. If your video is a "standard video", so it is not really funny, or something that will offend, cause buzz etc, you may not see many hits.

You can either make them more "out there" or you need to find ways to get people to rate your video to push its reach. You could offer bribes to your current list or blog readers if you have them to vote for your video and better still, give them a reason to embed it into their own sites, that will help you build the views.

You may want to give away quality products in return for people linking to your video etc.

You can of course submit articles linking to your video, you could embed your video in a squidoo lens, put it onto MySpace and Facebook, link from Twitter, the usual traffic methods.

The thing about video marketing is to make many of them, keep them short and sweet, to the point and then have them set up on as many video sites as you can. This can bring you long term traffic, but unless you are in a highly popular niche that loves your video for what it is, then you need to approach it in a new whacky way.

Video that is just uploaded and left to its own devices are rarely an instant traffic hit!

Even someone like Joel who can tell his list to go look at videos, still does not get the hundreds of thousands of hits that some funny, or catching or just plain news worthy content gets.

Trial and error and linked promotions are the way to go.
