Possible that Aweber didn't send email??

Hey Warriors,

The weirdest thing happened to me... I broadcasted an email for a short promotion I was running, and I got no responses and no sales. With this list it is really unheard of.

What's even more strange is that in the "recent broadcasts" section in Aweber, the email is listed with 0 bounces and 0 opens - yet the message was sent 2 days ago.

Has this ever happened? I don't want to resend the message, but it seems that the email was actually never processed.

    Can't answer your specific question Ryan, other than to say it's not happened to me, but why aren't you on your own list?

    You'd then have a clearer idea of whether the mailing was sent or not.

    Get on your own list is the best thing to do to test the emails is works out well or not.

    I am guessing the the SPAM fillters blocked the email itself. This will happen with all the spam emails that are going out there in cyberspace.

    Hey Tal,

    I checked my Spam filter and entire gmail account, and no sight of the email. The message had an Aweber spam score of 0.4, so it shouldn't have had any trouble.

    I think Aweber actually failed to deliver the message. I'll resend the same message and see what happens this time.

    I got on chat with Aweber, and as usual they were very helpful. The reason it says 0 bounces and 0 opens is because it was a plain text email, which apparently can't be tracked.

    Now I just need to figure out what was wrong with my offer that didn't drive any response!

      Yep, that's the reason.

      Actually, Aweber recommends you send both versions.

      HTML will track Opens, Bounces and, to my mind most importantly, Clickthroughs on your included links.
