    To answer your question, "What is the best way to get an flood of traffic to your site" I would say to WORK HARD and take PERSISTENT ACTION!

    If you wanted a free method I would suggest Article Marketing and for a paid method PPC as these are what the majority of Warriors are having success with, but are only doing so with my first answer "WORK HARD and take PERSISTENT ACTION!"

    Article marketing is a faster process than SEO (in my opinion) which will generate cash faster, enabling you to use those funds to move onto PPC and start tracking, testing and tweaking campaigns to generate A FLOOD of traffic and money to your website.

    Once one campaign is up and running, duplication is the key and the traffic will continue to pour, making your every desire become a reality!

    That's what I have learned in my short time here at the WF.

  • Best really is a relative term if you are talking about traffic, but I think the overall most targeted and cheapest and potentially easiest way to get traffic is SEO.

    If you are working in micro niches, you can do onsite SEO and a bit of Offsite SEO and you are set for traffic for life.

    Obviously, this won't be the best way for competitive niches/keywords.

    Just my two cents.

    P.S. I know my answer is the best, but I am already a War Room Member, so just give the price to the second best answer.
  • For a FLOOD of traffic, you can spend money like there is no tomorrow on PPC or paid search or media buys. You'll get a FLOOD but you'll pay for it.

    But for long term consistent traffic...

    Use viral techniques:

    Rebranded eBooks
    Free Software with Links
    Give away WP themes with embedded links
    Reseller Scripts (like the $7 script, RAP, and others)
    Give away or sell PLR with embedded links
    Sell Complete niche sites with footer links (and resell rights!)
    Post PLR and eBooks to sharing sites (with embedded links)

    And there's more but the idea is to get millions of links out there back to your money site. This will not only crank your traffic but it will give you higher Page Rank.

    Takes a little time and effort but well worth the LONG TERM consistent traffic.
  • That's a very good question.
    However, i personally believe that there more than one ways to generate traffic to your web site.


    1) First of all your site must be packed with original, keyword targeted, content. For this reason, I think that the best site an internet marketer can build is a wordpress blog.
    2) SEO is VERY important. I am currently using a combination of techniques that involve the use of spyfu, google keyword tool and google traffic estimator.

    There people who advise to choose the most profitable keywords (no matter what their competition is) and people who get results with long tail (low competition) keyword. I personally use both strategies.

    3) Use Google analytics to track the highly converting keywords

    4) Advertise on facebook using one simple squeeze page and offer a freebie

    5) Use contextual advertising such like media traffic to get traffic for something like 0.10 cents/click

    These were just a few ideas from the top of my head...

    1. Backlinks, backlinks, and more backlinks. The more backlinks you have, the better the page rank of your site; thereby gradually increasing traffic.

    2. Article Marketing - Submit as many good quality seo articles as you can and distribute them to as many article directories. If you cannot cope up with writing many articles then outsource them ( I can also do that for you)

    3. Press Release - not as popular as article marketing but as effective, if not more effective, than submitting articles.

    4. Pay-per-click. Quite expensive but can be most effective if done right (using the right keywords)

    5. Good keyword Research. If you are able to get the right keywords, just one good article can already send numerous visitors to your site.

    • Although it is very dependent on your niche and probably cannot be used as a blanket rule. I have gotten great results from doing the following:

      In the company I do IM work for, the owner is very attractive, so I use her image in my craigslist ads advertising our products. A strong headline to get people to click the ad with some innuendo inside the content of the ad and we get some amazing results. Sex sells. Of course it helps that our target buyers are male. over 50% of the clicks coming into our site is from her picture.

    • As with most ventures, I often revert to one of my basic principles of life. I Do what I want, and I would expect you will do the same. This being said, the "best" is also subjective and has implied "feelings" which are quite individually selected. So if you do not "like" a specific protocol of actions, you will be less likely to do it, yet in the same breath, if you do not like to do what works you may be doomed. One must learn to "like" the actions required so you will want do what is required to make any good method work "best" for you.
      I will "breakdown" some of the "best" methods, which work well for myself, many Warriors, and personal friends involved with the "Internet Marketing" side of E-business.

      When you have the desire, or "Want to",work your "best" at applying the "Ways", then here are some things that have worked "best" for different people. Some work quickly (even instantly), and others may take more time.

      1) List sharing or JV promotions>> Many individual internet marketers have promoted products, have "give away" pages, or other "list building" activities. The consumer may have a interest or even passion for the topic, and want more products, they may want your product. Partners can promote your product in regular "subscription" e-mail's they sent to their list. Give the partner a commission on each item and they will be motivated to promote your product. find partners to promote different products to different lists.

      2) Videos>>> Easy for some to make. Not so fun for others. If people start "sharing" with their personal network they can go viral and flood your site with traffic. Videos can be just as easy to post as written content, promoting Video products? this may be your "best" way.


      3) Detailed and diverse content>> Articles, blogs, content pages and the like can be indexed by search engines quickly, when posted on the many diverse content sites(as many bots like new contents). One who has writing ability may quickly take to this process, and others may outsource writing or look to productivity tools such as article modifiers, or "search and replace" option in many word processing tools *keyword synonym replacement; an SEO Technique*).

      3 notes) Content development can often go hand in hand with SEO. Utilizing analytic tools from sources, analyzing and researching keyword search numbers(see google) to determine quality "word niche" components to include in content development can quickly get pages, articles, blogs, (even listings), top search engine rankings.

      4) Social Networking sites>> Many people have many friends. If you enjoy building your persona (aka profile), this may be fun easy and something you already do. A few interesting posts with a site page with "more details" or an call to action, can cause an instant flood of traffic

      5) Traditional Ads>> Off line ads can be as productive, profitable, and affordable as online. Some research is necessary to get the best bang for you buck, Rembember the audience you are promoting to. (don't advertise for dress shoes in a boat magazine) Be just as careful with your analysis of cost and returns as you are (or will be) with PPC.

      6) List building >> As promotions go viral, partners provide back-linking (and other promotions), E-book or "script linking" traffic can provide one the opportunity to get floods of traffic from return visitors. With offers, items, or information people will be ready and waiting for your e-mail updating your "list" with your most relevant information, directing traffic at will just by sending a message to your subscription members.

      7) Auction or "craigslist"Network posting>> Sites such as feE-Bay can provide a platform to launch some types of products, I do not recommend this for digital products, as some of this type of network prohibits digital or affiliate products. Some people I know do have success because It is just like any other method, if it works well for you, and you can do the required tasks well, then well it just might be "best" for you.

      8) Integrated approach>>One way may not be the best for you, it may be best to use more than one approach at the same time. Post to networks and social networks, some of your articles, which you have a video about.

      Any way which works for you will be your "best" method. If you are great on video, that may work best for you. If you are good at research and analysis, SEO may be your "best" way. If you have good writing skills Articles and content development may serve you best.

  • It has already been mentioned that best is relative.

    By flood of traffic, do we simple mean visitors or qualified visitors?

    Do we consider what we want from the visitor, click, name capture, etc.

    What I know works, and is simple enough for most to follow.

    Choose a niche, that has qualified visitors (based on above).

    establish how much time you will put in up front, and invest over a period of time.

    Build a quick and simple site, I recommend wordpress.

    Do basic SEO, title, desc, keywords for targeting tags, categories, articles, etc. You do not have to be an SEO genius.

    The rest of the SEO will take care of itself by choosing content. IF you use an article with reprint rights, it will likely already have a good keyword title, and keywords and phrases through-out the body of content.

    If you choose PLR, it to will likely be ready to go, changes or not.

    If you choose Wordpress, you can get many free plugins that will drip content to the site for you. Either by uploading a batch of articles, or pulling in articles via plugins, as well as RSS feeds.

    You can upload say 104 articles and automatically publish 2 articles a week for a years worth of content. Depending on your schedule, you can setup one site, a month, a week or a day.

    Even at just one a month. After 4 months, you have 4 sites running on auto pilot. You can then begin to add more payment resources to fully develop each site, such as adding affiliate links, cpa, adsense types, or original products.

    The above is simple and repeatable. Big SECRET: If you find a formula that works for you , you may actually tend to repeat it.

    The more content you add the more visitors you will get.

    But that is not all. Once you identify the sites with best income generating potential for you, that is the one to really develop.

    Manually, paying someone, or software automation, you should now start on a process of building back links to that particular site, this will give it the effect strength of recommendations. Giving power to your money site.

    This all seems rather simple, which is the point. Simple actually works, because works, you can easily repeat it.

    That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

    With a good one time offer page you can easily convert these leads into sales right away, and with good follow up you can convert a good amount of them over time.

    Since the campaigns are based off keywords it has all the benefits of seo and ppc.

    It's even better than seo because it doesnt take forever, and it's better than ppc because you don't have to worry about quality score or expensive clicks.

    Reading the responses above is like overhearing a bunch of basement dwelling World of Warcraft shadow lords plotting how to pick up a girl at a bar and arguing about what the best hypnosis woo woo magic lucky shirt is.

    It's missing the point completely!!

    The best tactics in the world aren't gonna do any serious numbers for very long if your stuff sucks.

    Best traffic tip: MAKE YOUR CONTENT MAGIC

    Instead of trying to find the best juju magic gel to rub on your stomach that makes the fat dissolve, go out and put in some hours of concentrated work. Make your stuff ten times better than what everybody else is putting out there. Make it different. Magnetic. Think about every single word you use, every image, every way you approach a video.

    People want the traffic tips cos their stuff sucks but you can't trick people into buying your stuff for very long. And it's not very fulfilling. And you'll go to hell, and if you're already destined for hell then making your stuff legitimately good and dripping content will make you go to the part of hell with ice cream.

    It's really not that tough to make your content amazing. And when you make it that good, people will be affected and send the traffic to you.

    Okay, one technical traffic tip: mention a couple of the top results in google in your articles/vids and then email them about how you're new and this that that and after 4 or 5 emails send them something you've made just for them.

    Make your content magic and it'll sell itself. Don't be sleazy and sneaky and try pick up woo woo tricks, rather spend your time making your content awesome. The benefit of putting out quality stuff constantly and being featured on the top sites is way better than the benefit of some yuck ad drop.

    People talk. And they'll talk about your stuff if it's good.

    • I don’t give a damn about how advanced a traffic technique sounds if it doesn’t comply with this set of rules:
      1. Puts your message in front of a large group of targeted prospects whiling to take financial action.
      2. You get a positive ROI (return on investment) or at least break even on the front end. (You’ll make more money on the backend).
      3. You can outtake the competition (no point headbutting against a wall).

      Get these rules right or go find yourself another job. Traffic is easy, period. If you haven’t succeed yet it’s because you’ve been using a traffic scheme that does not comply with these three rules or you haven’t been persistent enough. If you are hoping to get a traffic technique right on your first trial, you have been living in wonderland. Even with the best mentors, failure is the only way to succeed.

      Enough said, let’s get into some Ideas you can work with.

      Be a lazy A-hole. Piggyback on somebody else’s traffic:
      • Find a popular YouTube video related to your business and contact the owner. Tell him you are interested in placing a link to your site in the description and pay him 50 bucks per month. Hell, buy his/her account if you can. Look for videos with at least 30k views per month or something like that.
      • Ad swaps, Twitter swaps… If there’s the “swap” word on it, do it. Period. You’ll basically exchange resources. Person A sends his/her list to person’s B landing page, and person’s B sends his/hers list to person’s A landing page.
      • Piggyback on SE (search engines) traffic. What, you didn’t thought about it that way? That’s what you do with SEO and PPC… You’re piggybacking on traffic that already exists. When you try to magically create your own traffic, that’s when you screw things up. I won’t explain to you how to do SEO or PPC here. Use the search option. It will give you more information than you can handle. Just make sure you target buying keywords and that you set a small daily budget (PPC), so tragedies won’t happen. And please do not use paid methods unless you have a clue of what to do.
      • Do keyword research on Google and find high traffic keywords. If you can piggyback on that traffic (SEO), do it. If you can’t, don’t sweat it. Make a list of the websites listed in top 10 and contact them. Tell them you want to be a guest writer for free and all they have to do is let you put a link in the articles. Be realistic. If they say no, spam the hell out in the comments (I’m kidding, DON’T DO IT!). Make useful, related comments. Blogs and forums are the best target for this method.
      • Hell, what are you doing here? The Warrior Forum is a high traffic forum. Make a free WSO or a useful post and link back to your site.
      • Rent somebody’s list and send people useful but incomplete information with a link back to your site.
      • Be a mind terrorist and piggyback on human psychology. Do something useful, controversial, funny and viral and let people drive you the traffic by word of mouth. Just make sure you place your material in high traffic sites so people can get access to it.
      • Go to alexa.com and look at the top 100 sites on the web. Brainstorm ideas on how you can piggyback on their traffic. See if they have any advertising programs available or if you can borrow their traffic for free.

      Grab this concept of piggybacking and come up with your own Ideas. It’s simple. If a web page, search query, etc, is receiving a good quantity of targeted traffic, weather through search engines or word of mouth, brain storm some ideas on how you can piggyback on that traffic - ”How can I put my link on that page?”. Just make sure you don’t spam or go against any TOS.

      Remember, the secret to get traffic is to know where it already is and then marketeting to it!

      Conclusion: The best way to get a flood of traffic to your website is to take action! Comparing different traffic techniques is pointless. Period.

      PS: There are a whole lot more traffic techniques such as PPV, banner advertising, article marketing, etc. This post was just a small introduction.

    The best method of getting traffic towards your site is definitely search engine optimization (SEO), why? It's 100% free to implement and it's the most effective form of advertising. People who are looking for something specific online do not go on YouTube, Twitter, Facebook or any forms of social media to gain an answer.

    They use the search engines, they use Google, Yahoo, Bing and numerous other examples. You can not only target certain groups to gain appropriate traffic, you can also target certain groups within niches to entice the people who you want, whether that is paying customers, subscribers or reviewers.

    SEO in essence is extremely simple as well, like most successful techniques, it is turned into a huge enigma that is made out to be impossible to do, which is simply not true. You have on-page SEO and off-page SEO, and that's it.

    SEO is the foundations that you should build your IM on, it provides solid foundations. It is like the fertiliser that will allow your website(s) to grow and flourish into money trees. Without SEO, you're losing huge amounts of traffic and possibly putting your IM business in jeopardy.
