Ezine to promote CPA?

Is it allowed to promote a Clickbank product with Ezine articles or do I have to just put the product in the resource box and write some bogus article?

Just asking because I tried to write a press release for my website and they would not accept. Sorry for the ignorant question!

Bogus article? What exactly does that mean?

Ezinearticles is a site for writing articles, not press releases, so that's pretty understandable it wasn't expected. They have a section where they explain all their rules, have you tried reading that? I would suggest starting there.

As for a clickbank link, that is not possible either. You cannot have an affiliate link in the resource box with ezinearticles, you need to point to your own site first, and on your own site you can have an affiliate link.

      CM,

If you want to promote a Clickbank product through EZA, Create a landing page or minisite for the product and make sure the article is professional and informative.

Yes, I did read the TOS. However, I was not clear on the promotion of products because it says links were allowed.

Ok, bogus article is the wrong word. I mean some random article about ANYTHING. That's what I meant by bogus. I have written several articles for Ezine. I am just now getting into this CPA stuff, so I am new to this.

      Thanks Alexa and everyone else.

I guess I just can't write "BUY MY PRODUCT!!!".

That was a joke before anyone gets all riled up.

Ok, so write about a general area related to my product and link to my site.

Link to your site in the resource box, yes, not the main body of the article

You must have missed the TOS which were very clear that straight affiliate links are not allowed.

I would also suggest a good WSO about article marketing, as it can be really hit and miss. It doesn't work just to throw up an article on ezinearticles and expect sales, in my experience.

The easy way to go about this is to purchase a 99 cent info domain at godaddy and do a masked forward to your product,it can all be done on your godaddy domain manager, it doesn't matter it it's CPA or Clickbank.
Since you own the website it is allowed within the TOS of ezine.
I do this for testing all the time.

Just wanted to say that I found the TOS that said the thing about affiliate marketing links. Apparently they have different TOS for different stuff on Ezine. I did not realize that.

  • Another thing to remember is that you have to be linking to a page with content on. There's no reason why a CPA offer can't be part of the content, but if it's the sole element on the page, there's a chance that Ezine will turn the link down.
