Check this site out - Cubestat - Website Value Calculator, Estimations and Information

I don't agree with the values it's put on my sites but it's interesting to get some feedback on Meta and Index Data. Plus it gives you the Compete and Alexa figures.

Yes...the values are...how shall I put this - highly optimistic.

How does your site look?

Hey Metronicity,

Funny I should find this thread here because someone in a different forum I am a member of suggested looking at Cubestat only yesterday,

I'm not really sure what to make of it, I mean I have checked a few of my sites and they are telling me they are worth a good few quid. Maybe I should sell

isnt it like those "evalutation sites" that tell you what your site is worth $$ based on various factors?

look one of my sites is worth $0, $0 daily advertising income and an alexa ranking of 27,122,021 - hmmmm

  I'm not so sure about optimistic! My website got valued a lot less than what I thought it was worth. There's definitely some variables missing.
  
  I make the value it suggests in a few months, and I've been extremely lazy about monetising it. Anyone who really wants to go full speed into the poker market would be able to make a killing given it's traffic and rankings.

  I think most of the values are plucked from thin air. Checked a couple of my sites and apparently neither of them are indexed in Google.
  
  One is brand new (less than 3 wks), not earned a thing yet and has a brill valuation. Of course the figures are way off. I would love to think it was getting the traffic they say it is getting.
  The other (which has been going for over a year and is earning quite nicely) they reckon is getting less visitors and is earning less than the first one.
  
  Don't think I'll be putting too much value on their valuations. :p

Mal, these tools are great!!!.. but for cooking brownies

One of my most solid sites was valuated in $638, but the last offer I had for it was around 12K. Guess the buyer didn't used that tool, huh?

Hey Mal ... take those auto estimate thingys with a grain of salt. I'd be a millionaire a few times over if there was any validity to them. They can't possibly know the real value of a website.

Don't know where they get the daily ads revenue from but it's way way out for one of my sites.

  I'm sure they just pull it out of their butt. They had revenue of "$7.62 per day" on one of my blogs - a blog that's totally unmonetized. LOL.
