Market Samurai Has Died On Me!

Hi all,

Has anyone else experienced this?
When I open it I just get a turquoise screen with file in the top left. As soon as I touch it the whole thing is shown as (not responding.) Tried uninstalling everything to do with Adobe Air and reinstalling but am still having no luck.

Thought I'd ask here as I have wasted hours on this now and my (second) ticket will not be answered for twenty four hours as these guys are 11 hours in front of me in Australia.

Thought this had to be worth a punt so thanks in advance.

I haven't had to uninstall Adobe Air, but have you checked other
AIR apps to see if it's an Adobe problem or a MS problem?

There was a recent Adobe Air upgrade that you need to accept and that should correct your issues.

I have the same problem on one of my computers running Windows Vista. I spent lots of time with MS tech support but we could not get the application to load correctly. Finlay I gave up and installed MS on an old Windos XP computer.

Contact MS tech support. Maybe you'll have better luck

Just send in a ticket to MS. I've used it for years. It broke once. They told me exactly what to do. Works fine now.

Er, makes sense to me too funnily enough. Unfortuantely the support is slow to respond and isn't available from 5pm Friday Australian time to 9am Monday so I've been searching for other ideas to get it sorted out as quick as I can..

I've had quite a few frozen screens in fairly recent times but have always been able to access MS after restarting.

I noticed recently that there have been quite a few updates coming through from MS and also there was one from Adobe Air.

Everything is running well at the moment and it does now seem to be running smoother and quicker.

I use MS all the time and wouldnt be without it.

    Mines working fine, no issues.

Market Samurai is phenomenal software, I feel sorry for people that don't use it.

They told me to uninstall it and all the files then reinstall but I still get a turquoise screen of death that says file top left. As soon as I click on it the whole thing is shown as not responding. Rapidly losing patients. I've had a paid version since last years Thirty Day Challenge. Just about to send my third ticket in!

      Russell , three things...

I got the part about uninstalling and re-installing MS...

(1), But what about Adobe Air? Did you upgrade Adobe Air?

(2). And, are you signed in to the computer in question as the "Administrator"?

(3). Has the full version of MS ever worked on the machine in question?

Also note, when I signed into MS this morning, there was another upgrade.

        1) Tried upgrading Air? Yes. Then cleared it and reinstalled that too.
        2)Yes I am.
3)Yes the full version has been working. I haven't used it for a month or so before this debacle.

Because Noble Samurai only offer support 9-5 Mon to Fri in Australia, they haven't replied to the ticket I sent last night U.K. time and I probably won't hear from anyone until Monday morning now!

Had a look on the Noble Samurai forums though and it appears that the latest MS and Adobe Air updates have been causing the same problems for lots of people across all of the different operating systems and p.c.s and Macs.

Will keep plugging away trying to figure it out.

        Thanks guys.

i get the green start up screen all of the time and a delay in it starting ? nothing i can do but be patient, the whole system seems to run on time delay, i just chill it now and wait for it to fire up, no idea why it takes so long.

i also get the not responding signals if i push it to hard, if you do not close it down just let it run it will kick back in most of the time.

i went through and cleared up a lot of crap on my pc / defragged it and other house duties and it seems to be running a little better.
