Time limit on replys??

You go to a post to read. You click on reply. You type in your response. You click on "submit" and poof, your response did not go through.

Has this ever happened to you?

Is there a time limit on responding or replying?

I must admit that the response I typed in took me about 10 minutes because I try to think as I respond how I want to phrase it.

I think on responses from now on --if I feel it is going to be a long response I will type it into a text file first then copy and paste.

I just hate losing a long thought out response.

    I've not seen that problem at all. Could it be you were replying to a thread that was deleted?

    A spammy or scammy thread might have been reported and deleted during the time that you were writing a response. If so, you would get a message on your screen when you click "submit".

    Probably good to make sure you have keep my logged in checked. Also, always a good practice to do a CTRL+C of the text you typed just before you click submit. I do that anytime I type something lengthy.

    Yes, also I stay logged in.
    It has happened to me several times in the past. This time I was sent to an admin message upon "submitting". I think maybe I submitted at same time this message was posted causing the problem. Maybe just a fluke.
