my free report is almost done --- how do I give it away?

I'm finishing a report that I'd like to give away.

The report is now a Word document that I plan to convert to pdf.

Once I've converted this report to pdf and put it in a folder, do I need to include that link in a website or on my autoresponder? I'm just confused at this point.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

    So you are giving away this report so people will be inspired to join your list?

    Then in your thank you message after they subscribe or double opted give them the link say here is the free report thanks for subscribing.

    If you want to give it away in the war room with no opt in required, you could always attach the PDF as a file in your post.

    Hehe i see why dont you setup a little landing page and capture our emails before we download . Get yourself a little list going to upsell to. The put the link in your signiture on your forum posts.

    Threads requiring an opt-in in order to download something are not allowed in the war room. Everything in the war room is free, no strings attached :-)

    You can still place a voluntary opt-in option to your war room offer, as long as you don't require an opt-in before giving away your report.
