Question about auto-blogging software - WP Robot

Hi All

I have been looking at a couple of auto-blogging programs - WP Robot being one of them - and there is one thing I do not understand.

These programs pull relevant content from article directories and post that content to your blog. The thing I don't get is this: Most of these articles have affiliate links embedded in them, and it is against the TOS of most article directories to strip out these links.

Why on earth would I want someone else's affiliate links published throughout my blog? I want my own links there, not someone else's.

Can anyone tell me what I am missing here?

Thanks!
BJ

You're not missing anything. WPRobot gives you the option of stripping links from all content sources. It's entirely your choice.

If you don't want someone else's links or resource boxes in your blog, create your own content. You are using someone else's work ... why would they want to let you if there wasn't a benefit to them?

That is the exact reason why I have never used someone else's work like that on my site, which is why I didn't understand why these auto-blogging tools are such a great thing. I was just doing some research.

      Thanks!

WP-Robot has more then just an Article module. The plugin supports a total of 15 modules. Check it out: WP Robot - Premium Wordpress Autoposting Plugin

I only ever use the eBay, Amazon, Youtube, and Yahoo Answers modules.

So as you can see you still have lots of content to choose from.

        Hope this helps,
        Gordon

I would suggest to keep the affiliate links of the articles you are using.
You are taking and receiving at the same time. That's what I like about honest internet marketing. It is entirely a win/win business.

I would also suggest to not autospin the content yor extract. That will keep you away from lawsuits...

Autobloggers are great. And can help you build a list while making money out of affiliate commissions.

However, if you are building your business based on your particular passion and expertise, I believe you should strive to write your own content to add special value to your readers/customers. That will naturally attract people to you.

Hmmm, the choice to get sued or not. Interesting choice.

Exactly. That is the trade off. If you use someone elses material, their compensation is outbound links. They don't provide the material just for their health.

Autoblogs can still have their good uses and purposes even keeping the links. They can generate traffic which will help you sell ads on the site or use your own affiliate links mixed into the bunch. And adding your ebay and amazon links into the content.

They can also be used as "feeder" sites to link back to your money sites which will push your "money" sites higher in the search engines.

Just to share some experience on my use of the WP Robot...

All in all, I feel that this is a great tool for grabbing content from the various sources...

Most of them build autoblogs (as far as I know) to generate income from Adsense... So whether or not within the article there are affiliate links it does not bother to them (they just treated it as a way of saying "thanks" in exchange for using their articles for free)

WP Robot grabs articles from the article site called "Articles Base". But so far in the autoblogs that I have built, and the contents that the robot has "grabbed" from this site, I did not see any affiliate links - If there's one it's probably in the author's bio... But till not I did not notice any...

Having said that, this tool can not only help grab content from "Articles Base", but it can also help grab video from YouTube (where you can use it to build a video site), and also grab product descriptions and specifications, customer reviews from Amazon - Which you can use it to generate income as an Amazon associate...

These are some of the features I've used (of course there are more, which I have not experimented yet so I can't really comment).

This tool really saved me a lot of time in terms of content generation and I think it's a really great tool - One that I never regretted paying $97 for...

    Cheers
