I have a question for you guys. I have been told it is REALLY important to create an article at an ezine as an original one (linking to my site or landing page), then...

write many articles and point all them to the original article I just wrote.??

Or

Can you just create the original article on your site, and then create many articles and all point them to the main article sitting on your website.

wouldnt it be better to use the authority of an ezine , its google ranking and that would serve as another website ranking in the #4 position on the results page of google. Also you might have your website on the first page also because you have that #4 spot ezine actually pointing or linking to your site, helping to push it up in the rankings.

I hope I wrote that well enough for everyone to understand.

All opinions wanted!!!

I always put the best content I have produced on my site, and I really don't waste time anymore with posting articles on other sites as I have a good readership and often get free links because people chose to link.

    Tommy:

I think either option you mention are useful. Use both for link diversity. Your author account at ezine articles and at other article directories has an RSS feed. When you put that feed into RSS directories you will get some good links. I use a software called RSS Submit to speed it up. If it has an RSS feed I submit it. There is a free RSS directory submitter called RSS Anounce too. (google it)

A very neat free site is http://www.rssmix.com/ you can mix multiple feeds into one then submit it.

Article Marketing is great for links back to your main website, but let’s face it - you are literally among thousands of other authors in most article directories, and the visitors are there for a million other interests, not necessarily what you write your articles about.

With guest blogging you are focusing your efforts solely on blogs specific to your niche. Usually there are fewer authors writing about the same subject and you are writing for those people who come to that specific blog because they are already interested in the subject matter and therefore, your post.

I like sites like Squidoo and Vox.com and blog.com and use them like article directories. The links are dofollow and they all have RSS feeds which I submit and bookmark.

    to your success

Original content posted to my website and ezines. Variations or similar articles posted to other article directories redirecting back to my original article.
You can use the squidoo, hubpages, vox, and other web properties 2.0.

Original and informative article can help you a lot. It makes the reader catches their attention in your writing. They don't just stop to one article you made when they like it. They keep on searching your another output because they know that you are a reliable source at the same time you can gain a more traffic.

Ezine Articles helps you optimize your Article content through putting valuable RSS feeds on it.

It is one of the best available place for Webmasters to publish their content online, thousands of users can view your content & increase your content potential by placing reviews.

It works on only quality & real content, the most important thing to consider while doing article writing is avoiding plagiarism.

However you go about this if you over-promote your Ezine article it may well out rank your own page.

  • Thanks for all the answers WF members.

Here would be my goal. To help explain it better...

Within Google's top 10 for a specific keyword, I would like to achieve this:

    - rank my own site or landing page high
    - rank an article I wrote at EZA.com
    - rank a video I have hosted at YT.com

I would have (hopefully) those 3 url's ranking in google.

Google apparently loves YT and Article Directories. So I would build backlinks to
the YT video, and as I said above, I would submit my spun articles (UAW) or other software and have them all point at the original EZA.com artilce. I am going for more organic listings and not relying on really any subscriber traffic from any of the other ezines. See, there already is thousands of authors within the directories that have more followers or a platinum membership., so I would like to see you 'google' the keyword phrase and see maybe 3 of my urls ranking on the 1st page.

Oh, and the original article when you are reading it, and get to the bottom, the link at the bottom of the article will open up my LP. Resource box will have a small 'call to action' also.

does this make it a bit more clear of what I would try to achieve? I was at a training where the speaker was talking about this.

And the keywords I choose, will obviously be "LOW" competition..

I wouldn't waste your time with other directories at all. Just write more unique ezine articles or write on a guest blog network to get a wide net of links.

I usually create unique articles to be submitted over ezine articles twice a week, and also create another articles over squidoo and hubpages where I can include the link of my article on ezine and also my website.
