hosting headache!!!

Hey Guys

I just registered a domain with name cheap, and got hosting from hostgator. I downloaded the Wordpress theme but it has a different domain ex. houserepair.net/blog. My registered domain (houserepair.net) redirects to hostgator login instead of the blog?? Did I do something wrong??

    Sorry, but I'm a little confused over your post.

    Did you point your domain NAME servers on Name Cheap to the server names that Hostgator gave you?

    If so, then try again, but remember that domain name propagating can take a few hours to take effect.

      Sorry, I should have asked, 'did you put your website in the public.html folder'?

      If not, try doing that.

    Seems to be working fine to me. You want your blogs homepage to be houserepair.net right?

    Hi Jeff thanks for the response. I have not manually put in the website into the public html folder. Perhaps that's where I went wrong. Hate to sound like such a newbie but is that hard to do? Or is it simple uploading?

    Hey grant the problem is my original domain name directs to hostgator login and not the blog.
