Is your list specific to the product or is it by the niche?

It all depends on the conversion %. If you get a total of 40-50% stop there. You don't want spamming half of your list. Don't be greedy. Define a reasonable % for you to stop. If you don't reach it after 3 emails, wait for a while before promoting again.

A general rule for promoting ANY product to your list is:

Send 7 messages to your list about the product in advance (leave 2-3days between each message) then give them a HINT that you might be able to get it at a cheaper price for them, then SELL on the 15th message.

I'm only now getting back into marketing because I've been on "holiday" funded by HM but when I used to promote to my lists I always sold on the 15th message and never sold the same product to the same list twice.

However, I would try and find products which compliment each other, sell the lesser and then sell the product which would compliment it.

    That is a great question.

If you have a list and you send them one offer 3-5 times in a week or two week period, it is OK to send them a new offer after 3-4 days later.

I usually wait 3-4 days before starting a new promotion for a new product.
