Does This Sound Realistic?..

I'm somewhat new to article marketing. I wrote 10 articles about half a year ago to promote a fitness site I created. I got a "platinum status" on EZA and now I'm going to start writing articles specifically to promote an ebook on clickbank. Here's a quick landing page I threw together last night ..

The Fitness Blueprint - Weight Loss - "Strip That Fat" Review

Now, here's what I'm wondering. I know there are a lot of factors at play but this is more for motivation than anything as I'm sure a lot of you have been successful with article marketing.

Writing fitness-oriented articles comes fairly easy to me as I worked as a personal trainer for almost a decade so I'm able to pump out about 4-5 a day.
I've spent hours researching and I made a list of highly searched, low competition keywords.
Now, providing I do everything properly, how do these stats look?..

Say I get 200 keyword specific articles up within the next couple months.
Each article gets approx. 5-10 views a day ..
200 articles at 5-10 views a day = 1000-2000 daily views
Out of those viewers, is it realistic to assume that 1/10 people will click through to my landing page?
If that's the case .. then I'm looking at 100-200 landing page views per day..
Now, since my landing page is designed to "pre-sell", is it right to assume that my conversion rates will be in the ballpark range of about 2-3%?

So, based on that .. 100-200 views with a conversion rate about 2% ..
That's 2-4 sales per day at a 38 dollar commission ...
$76 - $152 a day ...

Does that seem realistic?
This is more to motivate me than anything.

Also, any advice on that landing page would be great.

Thank you.

This is realistic, achievable and viable.

You can make that kind of money with 200 odd articles or so... However I do consider the fact that after a small initial surge of traffic just after the article gets approved, there is a large drop in the number of views ot gets and it slowly dies... Well, in most cases. You get far less numbers from each article and that is why you have to keep doing it over and over again.

So yes, this is doable and making $5K per month after two months of extensive article writing is possible... especially if you can come out with your product with your own sales letter od your own domain. Join Kevin Riley's product dcreation lab in the private forums' section!

    Thanks Lakshay,

    That's motivating for sure.
Another newbie question, when I'm researching the keywords, oftentimes there's already an ezine article up for the keywords I'm researching. There's still under 5000 quoted results though.
Will the fact that there's anothe ezine article listed for the specific keywords somehow negatively effect my position?

There will be articles out there for any profitable keyword that you can come up with, and tons of new articles centered around the ones you select will be produced today, tomorrow and this week.

But that should not trouble you as long as you are giving some real good value to the reader and trying to lead them back to your website by not giving them just enough.

So give them some value quickly in an article and keep them wanting more. Then in your sig tell themmthere's more info if they click on that link to your website and that's pretty much all there is to it.

just remember that the use of the word "YOU" is extremely powerful with article marketing. Another phrase I always keep in mind when writing articles is that "Money Loves Speed". Give them thew info fast and then reinforce in the last paragraph/closing section.

    That's the way things work.

Can you elaborate a little bit on how to use the word "you" effectively?

I just finished my 5th article today and I just found a keyword(s) within my niche that got searched 3,600 times in the month of September and there's only 90 quoted results for it!

Looks like I have another article to write ..
