What is the best way to manage affiliates through an email campaign?

You should really use something like clickbank. They have the whole system built-in for you.

These are two separate things. Clickbank is one solution as is Commission Junction etc. to manage affiliates. You set up your product and website with Clickbank for example. They then handle all payments and provide an ID for affiliates which allows them to get paid automatically - so you don't have to do anything else.

Aweber is an e-mail auto-responder programme, an e-mail marketing solution, which allows you to sign people up - whether customers, prospects or affiliates so you can send them automated e-mails with offers, tools and links etc. It means you do not have to send e-mails out individually and with Aweber you can have different lists for affiliates compared with customers. On your website, you will have a capture form for affiliates to enter their details and when they click on the confirmation link, they will be added to the e-mail list.

However in this example of Clickbank and Aweber, only Clickbank will actually determine who sent you sales and automatically pay them.

Ideally therefore you will need both Aweber and Clickbank (or their alternatives) to manage the system of affiliates and the launch you are talking about.
