Offline email marketing pitfalls
What risks should I cover myself for specifically in any contract other than the standard boilerplate kinds of clauses needed for a contract (which I already have)?
Since AWeber is double opt-in, there shouldn't be any risk of getting fined for spamming if I'm running the client's email lists and marketing for them, correct?
Should I be vague in terms of what I'll do for them, or very specific (I'll prepare 3 timed messages to go out 1 day after they sign up, then 1 week after etc-that type of thing). By vague I don't mean deceptive, I mean just not giving a lot of detail.
What do you email pros do?
I'll be paying the Aweber monthly charge myself and then billing the client for my fee.
Thanks for your help.
