Video Marketing like Article Marketing...How To Do It?

So right now my new blog is doing good as far as traffic since it went live towards the begining of the month. My niche is really small and doing articles on it can only go so far.

Now im uploading a lot of videos of my niche (my niche is music based and these are coypright free videos of performances) to you tube and wonder whats the best way to market these videos like articles.

In the video im using the Boxes with tages of my website about every 3 min for a 9 min video. What is the best way to spread these videos across the net like article marketing. I know already of tubelogul but what else could I be doing...

So far these are my steps....

1. Upload, write description, add message box
2. Post on my blog and schedule it out as well if needed
3. Auto twit once its published
4. Use IMAutomator to bookmark the youtube url for free
5. Use profile links back to the you tube url and set for a week out.

anything else I could do?

I haven't tried video marketing yet. But I am in the process of starting videos soon. Probably within a week. My problem is that camtasia doesn't work on my computer properly.

But if it was me(after watching other people's videos and their performances), I'd suggest the following route.

At the start of the video, brand your site url. It has to be something that they can remember. And then a simple powerpoint presentation with your article.

    - Address their problems.
    - Give them a tip or two
    - And then tell them... for more go to xyz.

Put the link in your description. Make the titles attractive. For example:

Lose 20 Pounds - This Simple Trick Will Make You Lose 20 Pounds In 30 Days

Now you can either speak the article to them or just put some background music. For your niche, I'd say that you put background music.

The only way to find out for sure is by testing.

Doing a few videos per week is not going to be enough. You have to be committed and do at least 10 videos a day. In one month, you will have 300 videos which will tell you about what works and what doesn't.

Can I suggest that you have a look at the WSO by Mao Flynn "Complete Guide to Video Marketing".
Mao covers all aspects of Video Marketing in his eBook "Video Marketing Devastation".

It's very comprehensive and well worth the small investment for what is chapter and verse on the subject.

One idea is to start your own video music blog then you need to be picked up by the top music blogs...one example, hypem.com.

Here's how hypem.com decides on which blogs it will follow then report your content...How we pick blogs • The Hype Machine Blog

Actually I saw you posted your OP on another thread and someone answered about posting reply videos and I just wanted to say that I just recently worked with a client in promoting his music video of a live performance.

He posted one of his videos as a reply to the band's music video on YouTube and the band tweeted to their followers about checking out his live video, needless to say, the video picked up a ton of views quickly from this.
