Client Services - advice
The client might be an online service or they might be bricks-n-mortar (probably the latter). If I were to manage say a PPC account for them, and if I were paid a percentage of the sales that resulted from my efforts in advertising, how would they know which people I referred who bought from them?
I do not think an exclusive one-man affiliate program would be a good idea because 1. they would need to do more work and probably pay out and 2. I do not want to be using affiliate links.
I know they could put a Google conversion tracker script on their thank-you page which would tell me a sale came from my add - but I do not think they can see that, and neither would I know the value.
