question about setting up a Survey Monkey survey on WP

does anyone know how to insert a Survey Monkey survey into their Wordpress blog?

they give me a script to embed, then they say to ask a technician how to embed it.

I usually just embed things in a post or page, like YT videos, but this embed code is not working the same way.

it looks like this: < script src= SurveyMonkey . com... > </script>

anyone do this before? can you help?

    Are you embedding this on a page or post, or are you embedding it directly into your theme? If it's directly then it shouldn't be a problem. But you probably want it on a page or post.

    You can try embedding the code (which simply looks like JavaScript from what you posted) into a page or post in HTML mode (as opposed to visual mode), however that may not work.

    If it doesn't try using this plugin to assist you: WordPress › Exec-PHP WordPress Plugins

    This is a plugin that allows the direct entry of PHP code into posts and pages. Warning though, it looks like a lot of people have had problems with it under WordPress 3.01, it used to work great with 2.9.

    If you do use it make sure to use HTML mode only and never switch to visual (for the page you embed the script on) - if you do you'll kill it!
