It is a a nice layout but it is sort of hard on my eyes. Also, the first paragraph I read is factually wrong. I am studying physical education and the effects that food has on the human body and I can tell you that what you wrote is not correct at all. I would say that you would have to do some research on your niche before writing up content - your readers will thank you for it later.

Overall - It is a good start, just needs some tweaks, an opt-in box giving away "5 Top Tips to Burning Fat" e-book that you can create or find a PLR for.

Find authority sites on your niche, since it is weight loss there should be no problem finding them.

I will add to the "hard on the eyes" sentiment.

Dark text on light background is essential, in my experience at least. I also find that too many graphics can be distracting, such as your header may be. Simple is often better.

Use your free gift to build a list. Make that feature more prominent and easily accessible so people don't miss it.

Just a couple of initial thoughts I had.

No too bad for a first try. Work a little on your presell and also get a bit more content. Your main post want working when I checked it out, but maybe it was because you were changing it?

Don't get .info again. You will find it a lot harder to rank well for it. Stay with .com .org and .net.

Also make sure you put in an opt in form to collect subscribers.

Yes you are right, the main post isn't working cause I was changing it, but I am experiencing a problem. Each time I update the post, it doesn't appear on my site, it only gives a "404 error, sorry no post matches your criteria", do you happen to know what could be the mistake?

With the presell and more contents--I am still working on that. Will think about your advice.

Your link took me to a blank page except the free gift. That's OK I found the home page. I eventually downloaded the book without signing up to rapid share (did not like that part) I think you should get people to opt in before you give free e-book. That will help you build a list. People will still trust that you have sent them a link to the free book.

Your first link that says "Click here and read the book.." is actually the same link as at the bottom of the page which says "Click here for the best way to burn fat.." which takes you to the offer page and not a book as I was expecting.

Congrats for at least making a start. Hope my observations help you make some small improvements and achieve more results.

I have been editing the site, thats why you saw a blank page, I am still editing on how to add an opt in page. I was reading the google sniper technique, and one of it is put a link to an offer page just after the first paragraph, or do you mean the words I have used to direct to the offer page aren't good for a presell?

I think you just need to change the words. I was expecting to be taken to some book; it might have even been your free e-book but I was not. Change the words so that when the link is clicked and the offer page is landed on, it is not a surprise or a disappointment.

I appreciate the fact you are making modifications and will do so the more tips you are given in this thread.

Hi,

I think your site is looking pretty good now. You must have toned the colors down.

3 things from me, 1st the free gift download is a nightmare. I gave up on it. Just put it on your site with a link instead of going through the download site that wants me to pay money to download it faster.

Next, move the giveaway to the top in your sidebar and add an optin for it.

Finally, I would rename the about me page to just about. You can leave the content the same, it is just "About Me" sounds a little self-centered to me.

Otherwise, you are looking good.
