Newbie desperate for advice.

I just joined here yesterday and I have so many questions to ask but just now I could do with some advice on affiliate marketing. I have googled "affiliate marketing" but I can only find the reverse of what I am looking for (if that makes sense)

Basically, I have proven products (tangible) and I am looking to get them onto sites with high traffic volume. I am able to pay a higher than average commission as I produce the products myself with low overheads.

I am also willing to drop ship these products but I know there has been a lot of bad press about dropshipping. The items in question are cds, so easy to ship.

As I am a newbie here, I cannot send PM but if anyone wants to contact me please PM me with an email address.

I got some great advice yesterday from gjabiz

I would spend a lot of time here and begin developing relationships with other people here in the forum. As you do this, people will take you and your products seriously.

Getting affiliates (people to sell your products for you) is not a newbie topic. Even people who have been in Internet Marketing for years can find it challenging to recruit affiliates. There are literally thousands of products and services that Internet Marketers can promote. In a sense, you are competing with all of these other products that we can promote. You will need to convince people why they should promote your product as opposed to the thousands of other products we could be promoting.

Agree with kevin.. It can be quite tough recruiting affiliates especially for a newbie. Why don't you try to sell it by yourself first and see for yourself if ur products can be a great success.

George, we have been selling these ourselves for 7 years, we just want to sell more and are willing to pay well.

Also secure domain names and have someone build a site for your product. If it is a digital product get approved through clickbank or paydot.com, etc.

    Hi Kevin
I really appreciate your input and I certainly get your point. Our product is a proven tangible and established. We are a husband and wife team and if you Google her name Sharon Shinwell, you will see hundreds of results for all our titles.

I know our websites are in need of a makeover.

hmmm.. i'm not 100% sure which is your product but if you are selling hypnosis cds and stuff, the best thing is to get into clickbank and sell your products via clickbank. Most of the time, you don't need to do anything and someone will sell it for you.

Hi there. I remember when i was a newbie, and was keen to shove everything down my throat. It resulted me sitting at a monitor for a whole week reading and not acting upon that information. *frowns*

It is much different these days as I have several products on the market, and make 5 figures each month. It all started smaller, and then I scaled it up.

I suggest reading then applying. Then reading more and applying it again. There is a current thread in this forum that is a great place to start for even the newbie of all newbies!!.

Here is the thread here ==> http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...y-30-days.html

I suggest you go over and start there. Go and lap it up. Some great tips and techniques. Take action and good luck!

That sounds pretty much where I am at the moment. I have been sat here for 36 hours with just 4 hours sleep in between. Thanks for the link, I will take a look.

Ha ha, glad I'm not the only one experiencing a kind of mania! There is something surreal about absorbing all this info.
