Clickbank activation fees

I have been considering setting up as a Clickbank vendor but $49.95 activation fee is a lot if I have 30 products (I assume that is per products). Is there anything I can do to trial this first.

I would recommend to start with the best product you have, so that you can see that it is really worth it.

No, you only have to pay once and that's it. You can add as many accounts as you like.

So I can pay the $49.95 and then upload all my products for the one payment ?

When I had my first product on clickbank, I paid the $49.95 fee. Then I wanted to add another one but was concerned that I will have to pay another $49.95. To my surprise I didn't and that is why I know that you won't either.

    Ah, I just found this.

Once you’ve created your first product, you may soon want to add more products, or test different versions or price points for your existing product. You can sell up to 500 different products (or versions of the same product) in your account. However, you have to use the same HopLink Target URL (the page where affiliates send traffic) for all products in that account.

It's $49.95 for your first product then $29.95 for any additional products that you want submitted into the ClickBank marketplace.

You can have up to 500 products under one account but only the first product will be listed in the marketplace and they'll share the same account ID. If they're all in the same niche that might be feasible. Just use an affiliate page with all your products for account pitch page.

If however they're in different niches or you want each one separate then after you pay $49.95 for the first activation the others will cost $29.95.

If you have a decent product in a market with buyers you'll make up the activation fee in a nano-second so don't worry about it.

        Hi Alan

Forgive my ignorance but I am new to this. The clickbank FAQs assumes that everyone understands how it works but I am guessing that many don't so they are struggling like me.

If I pay my $49.99 and upload my products to clickbank, do folks just get sent to my website home page (which is fine by me) what happens if someone just buys a product from me and pays by Paypal in the normal way, where does clickbank come into the equation?

        Cheers

I will advice you to try out with paypal or other payment processors. I am also thinking of moving to clickbank but "clickbank will pay for itself". I understand what I mean by that and you should also do the same.

          Hey Alan,

Once your product is approved by ClickBank you'll use their payment link on your order button and links. You insert that code into your HTML of your pitch page....

          http://ITEM.VENDOR.pay.clickbank.net

Orders are processed by Clickbank. So regardless if they pay you via credit card or PayPal you'll get paid by Clickbank minus fees, refunds, etc.

To Clarify, the first Account activation is $49.95, Each additional account activation is $29.95.

Each account can have up to 500 products but you only get one listing per account in the marketplace.

You only get one landing page for the hop link per account.
Your account landing page will need to point to a page with links to all your products or to a script like easyclickmate to provide affiliates direct links to each product.

You sales page have to have order links of the form
http://ITEM.VENDOR.pay.clickbank.net for the order to be tracked and paid by Clickbank.

Yeah. that is also my concern. $50 is too much for me. I just started to sell my own product. Maybe in the future. I need the money right now.

You only pay a one off fee & there after list your products in numerical order & submit your thank you the same way. The initial payment is for good will & clickbank trust.

Like has been previously mentioned, pick your best products first & then market them & find the correct formula for success, then just rinse & repeat. I wish I had that many products to promote !

    Good Luck
