Trying to help a friend in Multi Level - Any suggestions?

I have a friend who is involved in a Multi-Level Marketing company called PrePaid Legal, and, one of his downlines is scoring a pretty big sale. In order for him to capitalize upon this and receive all of the commission he can make, he needs to advance in rank, and the only way he can do that is by selling a bunch of memberships quickly. He does not necessarily need to sell people on the business opportunity (even though that may make it a lot easier to advance,) but, just sell memberships (i.e., they pay X amount of dollars per month.) Any ideas that I can use to help him? (It may help me as well - i.e., provide an income for me as well.)
