hi, i'm completely new to marketing, my first post was asking what a cpa is? so, be aware i don't know any of the jargon, yet.

i'm setting up a simple online store, around 15 - 25 products. i'm a web designer, so setting up the store is no problem.

i need help with the marketing... i'd like to sink my teeth into this now, get a handle on it.

i'm just getting my toes wet here, so i'd like advice on how to market it for free, or on a small budget.

it's a unique pet product, target market would be males and females 15 - 35.

i read somewhere that i should get my site/product reviewd or written about... how do i go about doing this?

also, twitter and facebook? how exactly does this work... do i just set up accounts and keep adding friends?

do ad banners really work? do you guys use em?

ad banners do work i have used them to promote some of my sites in the past but the key to remember is the placement and the relativity of the site to what you have to offer

i'm reading the 4 hour work week at the moment, it's suggests that the best thing to do is come up with your product, and have it sold on another site... saving time... effort...

is this a better option? i take it the main site for this would be amazon? i've looked, and the product most similar to mine is on there.

i like to idea of having my own little shop though...

i would like feedback on what works best though...

      cheers
