Best Way To Ship Physical Product "Binder"

I was wondering if anyone has any experience shipping a physical product such as a binder with 4 DVD's.

I'll be going with a fulfillment house in a couple of weeks but for the initial first couple of orders I was wondering if anyone had any tips on the cheapest way (i.e. packaging and shipping method) to get the product out. (Canada post in my case :-)

Appreciate any advice. Thanks

In the states you can ship such things via media mail, which
    is very cheap.

If you are charging a premium price, you may want to consider
shipping options which get the item there before the customer
is expecting it. That really wows 'em.

Make sure you put a "lift letter" or thank you letter in your package,
ideally with another offer to buy more stuff, but if you don't have
such an offer ready a nice thank you letter offering after-sales
support can work wonders in preventing returns.

A lot of mail-order vendors forget about the customer experience
after the sale, which is a big mistake, but common nonetheless.

    Basically, show you care.

      Thankyou Loren Woirhaye,

I do want to "wow them". I love getting stuff in the mail and can't wait to open it myself so thankyou for reminding me that "I" now have the ability to pass on that awesome feeling.... and, I forgot about the little thankyou letter, so thankyou :-)

If your in the USA, I suggest you use the Postal Service flat rate shipping boxes. There are like 3 or 4 different sizes of boxes. Regardless of what you put inside them, the shipping is the same.

In other words, regardless if your shipping feathers or cement, if it fits, it ships, and for 1 low price.

I like the sounds of that Kev. I'm in Canada but I'm going to check if we have something similar. I have one binder and 4 DVD's so I'm just trying to find the right combo. I'm off to check with the post office and see if we have something like what you mentioned.

      Thanks.
