Lower conversions because its the summer?

Does the fact that it's the summer and everyone's on a vacation affect any of your conversions? If so, do you think that things will be back up afterwards? I'm seeing some lower traffic and was curious.

Thanks

I notice exactly the same. Traffic is lower during summertime. Double your efforts and you'll be fine

Lol, my conversations seem to have no dependence upon the seasons.

Conversions though, now that's a different story.

      Couldn't help it. :p

If sales do go down during the sunny season, then that might explain why I've had a rough start in IM. I guess I should keep at it until the holiday season!

I noticed a less conversion rate. Now I can guess a reason!

Summer time, the conversions are always low. That's because kids are at home so the parents have less time to go online and join something.

Plus, people rather be outside then staying at home and surfing the web.

Come September, things will pick up very fast.

I personally don't think it has anything to do with it. The numbers of visitors and traffic still the same for me throughout the year.

Though that is because I rank in the top 3 for a water related search phrase that sell like hotcakes in the months of may and june, then the rest of the year I fall into obscurity.

I think it depends on the niche you are in - I have noticed that my book sales on Amazon have gone down in recent months - I hope they will pick back up, but who knows...
