Can you offer a coupon code w/Paypal...?

Hi,

Does anyone know if it's possible to set up a coupon code with Paypal to offer a discounted price, like 10% off? I know you can with some shopping carts, but how about with Paypal buttons themselves?

Just used en eBay coupon and it rocked. But eBay says they can't issue them - yet - for eBay sellers.

But hey, eBay or not, how about it? Anyone know?
Can the small biz get coupon codes like eBay does ?

    I think if you check, you'll find that there's nothing in place on PayPal that would allow you to make such discount offers.

    Right now, it's all or nothing at all.

    It can be done with shopping carts and various other software on top but PayPal don't offer this themselves yet.

      I don't think paypal themselves let you do it but 3rd party shopping carts do...

      I'm using the e-junkie shopping cart, its really easy to integrate with paypal and allows you to offer coupons as a percentage, flat rate or when the customer spends a certain amount. Its only $5 dollars a month anyway but if you do a quick search you may be able to find a 40 day free trial coupon
