Why am I posting this??
Well, more than a couple of you can identify with the fact that there are increasingly more and more people that seem to think there's some type of easy this will be done for me without me having to do anything button some of us are hiding from them.
I give a buddy a break on my app. Basically tell him, "I won't charge you the same rates that I charge everyone else because you're my buddy."... its my preogative; (some might argue that that was my first mistake).
Anyway, I just get a call from him complaining that he has to create a MySQL database; (now mind you, his current site is WP based). If he had simply asked, "Hey, Will... can you do this for me?"... I would have done it; (no, not for free -- no time for free work).
Yet, instead he's complaining attempting to get me to offer to do it for him. AUUGHGHGHG!!!!
PEOPLE!!

Moral: You aren't going to get anything but nada if you're not committed to doing whatever work is required to get you where you're saying you want to go, with your business. No exceptions.
