What Are the Best Squeeze Pages?

I am going to work on building some lists. I was hoping you guys could give me some information on the best squeeze page templates, free or paid, or any other information I could use in my squeeze pages. I appreciate the help. Here are some questions I have.

It seems like a lot of gurus give out plain templates with basically NO graphics, is this the best way to go?

Should I go with the paid optin forms that are all decked out graphics wise?

What is best to give away, an ecourse or an ebook?

Got any other ideas?

I heard one of the top copywriters can't remember which one that plain white background with tahoma font for the title, and ariel in the main body, with everything above the fold.

There are font alternatives, but they mentioned that the above is proven to convert.

Double your dating.com is a an example.

Thanks. That is right I have seen double your dating before and forgot about it. I will check that out again. I hope to get more responses here and will post when I test things as well.
